I love the food at the larger of the two Tower Coffee shops - the service is excellent there, too. The prices may seem a little high but the portions are good.

Why the three star review then? It's the other Tower Coffee location, at 11th and Yakima that is responsible for the low overall score; not the individual working there (who is always very nice) but the idea that the ownership treats this satellite location as an afterthought. The Tower management does not appear to care about the customers at this secondary location.

I stopped in there this morning, it was busy but not out-the-door busy like it is some times, but I waited a good 10 - 15 minutes to put in my order.

I ordered something off the menu and was told that the other store hasn't delivered the food yet, so they did not have the item I wanted, nor the item posted as 'Daily Special'. So I left and picked up a snack to tide me over, at another store, as I had wasted my break waiting in line.

Which leads me to my statement that Tower Coffee really does not care about its customers, because the twenty seconds it would have taken to post a sign, "Sorry, no roast beef or meats of any kind" would have saved a customer 15 minutes of needless waiting. I'll never get those 15...

This "DELICIOUS FRESH HUGE PORTION" BAR & GRILL IS LOCATED RIGHT IN THE HEART OF TACOMA'S URBAN UP BEAT NEIGHBORHOOD!😁 IT'S A GREAT SPOT FOR A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT DESIRES YOU MAY HAVE THROUGH THE DAT! THE BREAKFAST IS OUTSTANDING! WITH SO MANY OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM. THE SANDWICHES ARE SOOO YUMMY AND THE TOWER CLUB IS HUGE! DEFINETLY CALLED "THE TOWER CLUB " FOR A REASON! Long time Grit City resident, first time visitor of 7 Seas Brewery/3uilt. Not disappointed! Drove past this 3-in-one place (coffee shop/pub/restaurant) many times and finally stopped by. Arrived around 9pm on a Friday. Coffee shop was closed and the sandwich shop was 30 minutes from following suite. Still got 2 incredible sandwiches (wifey and I) that were made from scratch. Not Subway style already prepped ahead of time. Opted for the salad instead of chips and it was so fresh you could smell the freshness of the salad like they just plucked it. They just serve sandwiches as the main dish but there is a wide variety and all include an out-of-the-ordinary list of ingredients. This place is perfect for a date night with your significant other or a night out with friends. The bar is strictly beer and cider but there is a vast selection. I highly recommend this place.
