I specifically asked before paying if the 2 chairs I wanted were new and I was told yes they were in stock new, only to be sold one much used saggy floor model. Dishonest.
Post reply from "the owner". You are being dishonest in your reply. I very clearly asked if the 2 chairs would be new in a box, you said yes. Then as my son was helping load them into his truck, my friend who was with me the whole time and heard the conversation was backing out to leave asked are they seriously loading up the used one? That is not what they said you were getting. I asked while you were standing outside, I thought you were selling me brand new in box chairs if I had known I would have asked for a discount as the top was squished. My friend called to speak to a manager to say how you handled your business was wrong, Jason said to bring it back and get a refund(is that a full refund or is there a restocking fee?), then he told her to have me come back in and you'll give me a 5% discount on these discontinued items. I do plan on coming one once I'm in better health.
Also thank you for replying with my first name. Passive aggressive move.
The tall young man on the other hand was an excellent representative of the business, kind, honest, helpful.
Maybe if you do not like your job get another one. I'm not one to ever complain, unless I am outright lied to. Just be honest and there won't be a bad review. You should care more about your customers in this small town.
See you in a few days, when I'm physically able and have help, to get the 5% discount Jason said he would give a...
Read moreUsually when I enter a furniture store I feel that staff are hovering or being pushy when it comes to a decision being made which ultimately makes me not buy anything and depart empty handed. Lowrys here in Tahlequah was different. Once I entered the store there was a young man named Jared who approached me and asked if I needed help finding anything, I said no at first. Jared had no issue with this and picked up quickly that I was just wanting to peruse at the time. After some time I was interested in asking about a piece of furniture that was on the floor and jared was right there able to answer my question without hesitation. Even though jared wasn’t far away he appeared to stay engaged with work all the while readily available to help me which was a nice change from the normal hovering salesman. Jared was attentive and kind, he appeared to be well dressed and a very respectful young man.
I did end up making a purchase because of his attitude and the feeling I had within the store as a whole.
I’ll more than likely come back again based on my experience at this time. I also attached a picture of Jared...
Read moreWe bought a Murphy bed. They said all the parts were there. Turns out they did not give us all the parts...no hardware to lift the bed and no bed frame. When we asked about it they said, "I can't help you." When we asked about a refund they said, "We can't take it back. It would do is no good." Be very cautious with them. We wasted $850 there. We would still be interested in working with them to try and get the parts, but they said we needed to call the manufacturer ourselves as they would not. If you buy from them, don't take their word . Check every nut and bolt!
UPDATE. You must have us confused with someone else. We walked into the showroom and asked about a murphy bed. You took us next door and showed us 2 that you said were complete. At no point have you offered any type of refund but rather said you could not help. Marketplace was not involved in any way. If you are serious about the $300 we are willing to chat. Just edit your post so we can see it and we...
