If I had the capacity to give a 0/5, I would. We took out 11 pound Morkie and and 25 pound Aussie Doodle in the be groomed. This was the second time we have taken them to Happy Tails. Understandably the Aussie Doodle was matted. They do not shed and have a thick coat. We picked up our dogs and they made no mention of any issues. When we got the dogs home, they began acting timid and shaken up. After looking them both over, the Aussie Doodle had a cut under each of her front arms. The Morkie has a cut on her belly close to her hind leg. When we contacted them to raise our concern and ask for a resolution, we were simply offered $10.00 off our next visit (which was $130.00 before tip). We decided to take it up with our bank. A week later we get a belligerent call from one of the groomers proceeding to handle the conversation unprofessionally and in an aggressive manner. She claimed we should have seen the cuts earlier and continued to provide explanations or excuses that negated her previous comment. She proceeded to tell us we are simply looking to get a free cut and that we better have pictures because they are taking it up with their bank before she aggressively hung up the phone.
Please know I do have pictures of the three cuts. I also know the difference between a cut/scab and a hematoma. I also have pictures of the aftermath wherein my dogs had anxiety induced accidents for the next week.
I would not recommend them for any service. They mishandled our dogs, failed to notify us of any cuts, created excuses after the fact and failed to provide any justifiable resolution. This was then followed by a call which was not only unprofessional, but honestly immature. You should never talk down to a customer, you should not call them cheap and you surely do not end this conversation with a threat before cutting the line. DO NOT TAKE...
Read moreI recently had an outstanding experience with Happy Tails and wanted to share my gratitude. After taking my dogs for a walk through some grassy areas, they ended up with pesky seeds all over their legs and paws. I called Happy Tails, explaining the situation and how important my boys are to me. They were incredibly understanding and managed to get us an appointment right away.
Happy Tails did a fantastic job brushing out the velcro-like seeds and giving my dogs a thorough bath. Both boys were extremely happy and grateful for the professional and detailed care they received. The staff was not only professional but also very courteous throughout the process.
I will definitely continue to use Happy Tails for all our grooming needs in the future. Highly recommend Happy Tails for their exceptional service and...
Read moreI just took my long haired mini dachshund to Happy Tails for the first time yesterday and was was extremely happy with how good of a job they did! I don’t take her often, because she needs a very minimal trim usually (just paws and sani trim) but her fluffiness was pretty out of control before I took her. They trimmer her paw bat wings perfectly to get rid of just the right amount, but still maintain her long haired dachshund look. My husband said it was the best she’s ever been trimmed compared to all of the other places we’ve taken her. We’ll definitely be taking our little Lola back! I forgot to mention how accommodating they are— I called last minute and they were able to fit her in same day! Thank you,...
