District 34 Boutique — Local services in Tampa

Hello. Single mom here from out of town. Came in to find something to wear for the holiday. It was raining and the dress I found was silk. I didn’t try it on for this reason. When it didn’t fit, I came to return it the next day and was told: “we can only provide store credit”. I told them how could that be in 2022?! She said I’ve only be the manager for 2 months and that’s how I was trained. She texted the store manager who was off and explained the situation, and she gave the same answer… but added “it says it right there on the receipt”. They said I could have store credit that never expires. Tomorrow is Christmas Day and I will be going back home. So basically, this speciality boutique that is in no way hurting for money, just took $70 from me; as I don’t live here and will not be back to spend my $70 in credit that “never expires”. Classy...

This Boutique puts the 'D' in Darling! I first personally discovered the store after hearing my mother and daughter exclaim with excitement at the finds they found here when in a hurry to find a gift for a friend and stopped in and they were so wonderfully surprised! My experience was no different! From hats, purses, accessories, clothing they have the most unique variety of on trend and unique clothing and accessories to match! To match the uniqueness that is! I have been back several times since I've purchased everything from handbags I've gotten countless compliments on, gifts, hats and darling outfits not to mention...

I can honestly say that I am appalled by the service given to customers in the store. Although the clothing is usually trendy and reliable, the women who work in the store are blatantly ignorant towards customers. Even when I am the only one shopping in the store, I am ignored by the sales associates as they are usually behind the counter talking to one another or on their phones. When I pick up multiple articles of clothing, I am rarely asked if I would like a fitting room started, and I am never asked if I need help finding an outfit. This has occurred on multiple occasions, and I sincerely hope the owner...
