I purchased a 3 piece suit from this Jos A. Bank location in July 2022 for my upcoming wedding in March of 2023. The sales experience was good, and the suit I purchased was reasonably priced below $300. Once the transaction was completed, I was informed that they would keep the suit to alter/hem the pants, and that I could pick up the suit shortly after. I initially thought this unusual, as a suit is normally altered 1-2 months before a wedding/event. I picked up my suit 1-2 weeks later. When I went home to try it on, the pants were not altered to my liking. In addition, I had found another suit that was more desirable from a different vendor. In August of 2022, I returned to the store with the unused suit and requested a return as both the receipt and the Jos A. Bank website advises that a customer can return merchandise within 90 days. I was informed by store management that I cannot return a suit once it’s been altered. I advised that this was not noted on the receipt or on any documents provided/available. The manager refused to process a return advising that there is nothing they can do even though the only item of clothing that was hemmed/altered were the pants. I contacted Jos A. Bank customer service and they advised of same noting that returned suits are only processed “under management discretion”. I find this highly unreasonable, and so I will not be utilizing their services in the future.

I didn't realize it until I checked it on the Wednesday before our wedding. The store manager was a NIGHTMARE. Blamed us for the mix up, never apologized, and quite literally hung up on me AGAIN and AGAIN. I will say I was a straight up psycho to him, but only after he was incredibly rude and I realized this man had helping us fix HIS mistake at the bottom of his priority list. Luckily I called the Winter Park store and they were able to rush the suit there for Friday, but then my family had to pick it up for him and he wasn't able to get alterations. This was the most stressful part of my wedding. I'm a solutions person, and if the manager had owned up and done everything in his power to fix it and make it right, I would've let it go, but he was incredibly rude.
