South Tampa Nails — Local services in Tampa

So today is my little cousins bday and she’s visiting me in FL (my baby really, she turned 20). We called ahead to see if they did chrome/holo nails, which they do! My cousin can be indecisive and couldn’t decide which her nail color to get. The entire staff was extremely helpful in finding the EXACT look she was going for. She tells me her nail tech was the most patient she’s ever had and that most people tell her they can’t get her nails “thin or slim” because her nail beds are bigger. Her nail tech did the BEST JOB we’ve ever seen on getting her nails thin and pretty! She’s in LOVE with them! They were perfect and exactly what she wanted. They offered her bottled water, and even wished her happy birthday as we left. Now I’m going to go to this salon to get my nails done from now on! I took my daughter to South Tampa Nail for the first time to get a full set of Acrylics and her eyebrows waxed in preparation for the first day of highschool . We walked in about 15 minutes after our scheduled appointment time and only waited about 5 minutes in which she spent choosing her nail polish from a vast variety of cool OPI polish. The staff was super friendly and was very articulate when answering our questions regarding different acrylic nail design and sculpture methods. They are definitely knowledgeable when discussing the current trends (Specifically pertaining to Ombre Sculptured Acrylics Vs. the normal Tips with an acrylic overlay). It took almost 2 hours to Jade to do a normal acrylic filling. I had to tell her the entire time to fix different nails because she did them very sloppy and she kept putting her finger in my gel that needed to be cured with her finger covered in dust from the nail filling. I asked her not to do that and she said it was fine: No, it wasn’t fine because I know that’s not what you should do. There’s something called orange stick to clean the excess of gel/polish. I’m very UNHAPPY with this job because I used 29 credits from ClassPass which is a lot plus $10 tip (even tho I don’t think she deserved) she was nice to me but her job needs to improve or find someone else to cover her position.
