When it comes to pizza, I like a New York style pizza, not a Chicago style pizza. I'm not sure how you classify this pie. Maybe it's a Neo-Neapolitan pizza. The sign out front says that they are an authentic, hand crafted, brick-oven, fresh pizza. I was a little bit confused because right when you walk in the door you see a generic 6 ft.² New York style pizza over. There was kind of a brick façade style counter in front of the oven but it definitely didn't look like a brick style oven to me.
"one bite everyone knows the rules"
The pizza looks really good, but unfortunately it wasn't my favorite. Don't get me wrong it was not bad, it did taste very fresh but it just wasn't my style.
Right out of the box the pizza was floppy! There was no char on the crust what so ever and to be honest the crust was soft and chewy.
Very little grease so I guess that's good for most!
The sauce was not bad but it doesn't jump out at you.
Lots of cheese and that combined with the pepperoni actually helped but still only finished one slice.
Overall the pizza was super disappointing and I personally can't recommend this place and or would I ever come back.
The service was as great and I paid $16.00 for a small pizza or what they call the "My Pie" and a bottle of water. Oh yea, and I of course tipped the kid at the front counter!
🍕OK so how about 4 stars!! This pizza is really...
Read moreGreat pizza and outstanding customer service. This place is worth eating at! PLEASE READ WHOLE REVIEW 8/3: Called for delivery, they didn’t tell me they use a 3rd party service which would have been fine except it took an hour and 40 minutes to get my pizza and it was cold. Pizzas pretty good so I’m sad it’s cold.
Hunny buns also slap
8/4: UPDATE: I received a call from a Mike less than 2 hours after my original review was put on google, I wasn’t able to answer but they left me a voicemail apologizing and asking if they could make it up to me. Today, I received a follow up call from a Chris. He apologized for the inconvenience and acknowledged things could’ve been handled better. They sent us a free meal with more honey buns and 2 sodas all on the house and delivered it themselves. The food arrived warm, and delicious. (I’m from NJ so it says something that I’m rating the pizza this highly). Thank you Mike and Chris and the flippers team, this was excellent customer service and we’ll be sure to get pizza from you guys again next time we’re in town.
P.s. the honey...
Read moreOrdered two pizzas, broccoli side, and meatballs as a side. They delivered the wrong pizza. The $10 order of broccoli was enough for a child or one adult that was not very hungry,, and the meatballs were obviously, pre-frozen and very spongy. The one right pizza, pig and pesto, was soggy on the bottom, because of too much olive oil, and was very salty. The flavor of the broccoli was good, and the meatballs were blah at best. Called to let them know about the wrong pizza. It’s now been one hour and 15 minutes and I’m still waiting for the right pizza to be delivered. They advertise a three dollar delivery fee, however; when I received the email receipt, it had a three dollar delivery fee, a $7.25 service fee, and a $7.50 tip. Don’t waste your time or money with this place. Too many other great pizza places...
