April Marie the nightmare in my life.
I use her couples of timesthe first time I was happy with the results, it was a simple job in my hair. Then I went the second time to do a haircut, she decided without telling me take volume of my hair hair. When I ask her what are you doing,she said is better for you.....so sad. After that time I came back because I still trust her. What a day😝😮☹️ I ask her for a nice hair cut and for a lighter color in my hair of course not to be blond but something lighter. She said is not going to look good on you🤭 I didn’t said anything (I was questioning myself) but for respect I didn’t act the way I want to act. She did a dark brown and bright highlights,ugly results the haircut was in layers (she said) but it look like she use a knife to cut my hair. Next day I text her and ask if she can do something with my hair because I didn’t like it. She said yes she is going to see me again,ok good. But what she did after that it was very unprofessional. She text my daughter to ask her what to do with my hair???????? She is terrible. She doesn’t know to do highlights and layers. So sad to pay $180 for a terrible job that everyone who see the Color and haircut ask what she did to your hair. Not professional and not...
Read moreMy friends and I went to The Shop Salon to have braided hairstyles done before a concert. We sent photos to one of the stylists to give them a heads up on which styles we were interested in. When we got to the salon, a different stylist than the one we had booked the appointment with approached us and said "Whos first?" All three of us went back to her station and showed photos again of the styles and she said that she did not like the styles (rude!). My first friend settled for basic French braids since she did not feel this stylist knew what she was doing. While braiding, she made comments like "It's not like I braid everyday" and kept making us feel as if we had inconvenienced her when we booked this appointment SPECIFICALLY for braided hairstyles. On the ride home, one of the braids came out completely but we did not feel welcome to go back and complain. Between her negative comments and our pathetic French braids, it was an awful experience that should have been an enjoyable one. I’ve had an appointment for 2 weeks. All I needed was a glaze/tone. The day of my appointment, the stylist cancels two hours prior. Said she can fit me in at 8AM the next day knowing i’m leaving for a trip so I was understanding and appreciative. I just woke up this morning to a cancellation text. I have friends who are hair stylists in my hometown and have been to many salons and have never dealt with anything like this in my life. I had asked kindly if there was a chance she’d have to cancel to let me know so I can find something else, which is already hard considering it’s so last minute.
