BUYER BEWARE..... While we were at the sponge docks, earlier this month, we stopped in this shop to buy these sandals. My girlfriend took a pair from the rack outside to ask for a pair in her size. All seemed fine and they fit. Two weeks later she puts them on (to wear for the first time) as we were going back to the docks for a day of fun. She walked across the house and walked right out of them! Obviously we took them with us to exchange, or refund depending on the response received. The older lady at the counter acts clueless and says, “talk to manager. He is not here now. You call him.” So my girlfriend called him this morning. Being very polite she explained what happened. The manager became rude and accused her of abusing the sandals. As you can see (the black sandals with colorful stones in photos) they are brand new and never worn. He also said, “glue them. I don’t do exchanges or refunds. That is not how I operate!” So, I am out $25 and that is not even the point. Nothing but cheap, touristy trinkets in this place..... and have you seen the prices on some of these figures in the window? You are a fool if you give any amount of money...
Read moreMy family and I did a little shopping here, after going on the Odyssey boat tour. The older lady at the counter spoke little English, but was very nice. I asked to see some art that was in the window, and she motioned to another store employee to come help. He was very nice and told me a lot about the way they process the olive wood, and types of oil paints that were used. "This is directly from my country!! Made in Greece" he said with much pride. Besides the typical post cards, sea shells, and souvenir shot glasses, I purchased 3 large wood block paintings, and they gave my 3 daughters a pair of shell earrings as a complimentary gift, I guess for such a large purchase. It could be because I bought a lot, that they were so nice... But then again, Ive shopped at other international places (and paid more) and was treated with contempt just for being American. So, in my opinion, if I'm spending that much in your shop, I appreciate you showing some gratitude and good old-fashioned "kiss ass" customer service lol. Happy with...
Read moreNOT handicap friendly. As my mom stopped in one of the aisles to look at some merchandise, she had been there less than 45 seconds, the very rude older woman who works there told us we needed to move so we WEREN'T IN THE WAY! I said we are looking at something but if that's how she felt we would just leave and spend our money in another shop. She then again said we needed to move. I am absolutely shocked at how insensitive and rude this woman was. When other customers stopped to look at something she didn't tell them to move they were in the way. My mom is already self conscious of the wheelchair and being in the way or a burden and this woman has no clue the damage it caused by not being a kind human. She said she never wants to go back out to shops it is too much. I can not express how upset this makes me. I would ask if you or someone you know uses a wheelchair do not go to this store. Other stores have the same merchandise they do. Anything you want from there will be at the next shop with better...
