Parthenon Restaurant — Restaurant in Tarpon Springs

We were just there about 2 weeks ago. I do not recommmed this place. The service was very slow. There were 4 of us and also my 3 year old girl. When we ordered the server forgot to put my order in which was just a simple gyro sandwich. So everyone at the table got their food except for me. Also I ordered a kids burger for my 3 yr old and they brought it with a big piece of withered old lettuce on it. It had a big black spot on it and looked like it had gone bad. when I pointed it out to the server she did not bother bringing another one or replacing it. I got up to find the manager , an old man who looked like he cared and when I told him about my order he said the server said I did not order my food at the same time. I guess they know all about customer service and he decided to side with his server. Then she came up and told him she forgot to put my order in and he still did not applogize for the mistake. All I got was a sorry about the bad lettuce on the burger they tried to serve my kid. When I got the bill I was expecting some kind of discount, I was not looking for anything for free but at least a way to make it up to us for forgetting my order and the bad lettuce on the kids burger, but no . They charged for the kids burger and my bill was over $61 . I was very disappointed that the manager never once came to our table , I had to find him to talk to him and when I told him about the customer service he did not do anything about it. He did try to give me some free baklava right when we were leaving, I told him he could keep it. Our server was slow and not very nice. Their food was overpriced and didnt taste too fresh. I lived in Cyprus for 11 yrs and I know what Greek food tastes like. I will never be back. All the manager had to do was aplogize and come talk to us but I dont think they care about having repeat customers as they probably thrive off the people that dont...

When expecting a wonderful Greek restaurant in Tarpon Springs, do not go to the Parthenon for an enjoyable, tasty meal. The first impression was that the inside of the restaurant was dirty including sticky tables and crumbs everywhere on the floor. In addition, the food was unsatisfactory to say the least. A traditional greek restaurant has the meat spit behind the counter, however the Parthenon had all of the food prep, including a meat spit, away from the customers line of sight. The gyro toppings were disappointing since it was served with feta cheese, tzatiki sauce, and a single tomato slice without any cucumber or additional ingredients. The meat was dry and old tasting while the pita bread was burnt and hard. If you want a tasty Greek food experience, we recommend that you do not go to the Parthenon and try another place in...

Was impressed with the front service at the start . Just was on it. I ordered the leg of lamb gyro that was on special QUICKLY realized why it was on special : it tasted like it had been over cooked , frozen then heated in a steam table in same pan tasted like freezer and steam table water no flavor at all other that steam table water .... Had to look for sauce , 2pc of tomato 1 of which was the heel , over powered with onion probably to hide the steam table taste .... Didn't work ... I thought desert would help WRONG strawberry desert tasted like refrigerator uncovered and old.... I've cream was ok.. Water what I was able to get was good.... Didn't confront them was too busy and I didn't want to wait any longer . My suggestion?...
