Me and my partner are big Panera fans, usually we stick with ubering it to our house. Today is Sunday and we decided to get out of the house, (me having anxiety issues limits that, along with work). We come in, Smells great, super hungry. Me and my partner walk up to the register, to find Mia there to take our order, I start to go ahead with what we wanted, a sandwich to be exact. I did get a chance to verbalize what I wanted excluded from the sandwich, however, not before being somewhat rushed at every item requested. We then paid, I order 2 chocolate croissants (they're my FAVORITE). Mia hands me one, not two regular croissants. Ok, no big deal, I simply say oh no, I said 2 chocolate croissants. She rolled her eyes and basically snatched the bag back and walked to replace the wrong items. But it was her attitude towards her own mistake, I wasn't complaining. I just wanted to correct it. I felt that coming here, to a place that we truly enjoy dining from would be a good experience. Mia, I'm sorry you heard me wrong. But you shouldn't represent the company you work for like this, I know I wouldn't dare treat someone like that at my firm. And now, we are just finding out that our order has been sitting on the counter for 15 mins and we had to physically check ourselves. We asked them how long it had been sitting there, they said 15 minutes. Which to be honest it was about 17 or 18. I went and asked Mia personally while my partner asked the guys on the order pick up side if we could get an update on our order. So the manager finally gave us a refund, but Mia, you're very unprofessional and you never know what someone is going through. Treat others how you would want someone to treat someone that you care about.
Update: After getting home with our cold food, we go to heat it up and find that the sandwich was made completely different from how we requested it. On purpose, who knows, at this point. Had we not received a refund, we would be home with inedible food and the store is now closed. We dine with Panera through Uber at LEAST once, sometimes twice, a week, and this is completely unlike any experience we've ever had there before. Panera, do better.

Read moreWorst bagel ever. I can't eat bagels that are too soft, they give me an upset stomach and constipation. I asked for it to be toasted to where you can tell it is toasted but not burned. If the outside is crisp but the inside is still a little soft it is best for my digestion. The bagel was solid brown around almost every part of the sides on 1 piece, not as bad on the other. I asked for it to be remade; the 2nd was worse, but at least 1 of those pieces would have been edible. They refused to remake again, which I understand, but they had already thrown the original in the trash, which should not have been done as I would have been happy with the better 1/2 of each. I was also told when 2nd one was too soft that once I had touched it to remove the burned piece that they couldn't retoast it as I had touched it-- yet she made it for me with no gloves on!!! So I used their microwave to try & get it harder but the outside was still soft (although edges weren't too bad as I'd cut them off), but the inside became rubbery. I ate it that way-- now my stomach is killing me & I can't go to the bathroom. I'll probably feel this way for the next 2 days or so, that's how long it usually lasts. Adding insult to injury-- the 20 year old front end manager lied and told me she was the store manager (I asked to speak to the manager and she said "me", so I asked for store manager and she said "I told you it's me"), and said I should go home and make it myself-- I don't currently have a working toaster and no funds to buy one. Was just really rude to me all around, am going to complain directly to corporate, no reason to report her to her manager who will probably think it was ok for her to tell me she was the store manager. This is a bad location all around anyway, rude staff and you always have to ask them for almond milk for your coffee as they keep it behind the counter. They always have to add it 2 or 3 times. They certainly have no problem touching something that I have touched when passing my cup...
Read moreWow. Where do I start. Greeted as soon as I walked thru the door pleasant as no helpful service. I love their Wild Rice & Chicken soup. Although, i happened to be close enough to the counter, and noticed that after the female employee dished up my soup, she put on protective gloves. I asked her if she dished up my soup w/o gloves, and she said "Yes, I mean it's not like I actually touched the soup." I asked her to dish up a new soup while she had gloves on. She said sure, but her facial and hand actions made me feel she was very perturbed! I explained there is a lot of flu going around. Again, she said "I didn't touch the soup." My point is. She grabbed the spoon ladle with bare hands (and a number of people touch that, not to mention....she grabbed my bowl that I will end up holding. Seriously, their manager, needs to go over food care with his/her employees. And if this survey is able to track who helped me....that woman should be spoken to about her interaction with clients as I felt she really borderline rude. I really should have asked to t as ok to the manager. It was a mid to late 20's woman with medium brown hair pulled back. There are a lot of places to eat. Her actions as nod arguing with me, was something that made me wonder if I wanted to come back. I'm not even sure she didn't put the first bowl in my bzg, as she moved that bowl right next to the bag and I couldn't see whether she put as new one in or the first one in, just to get back at me for insisting...
