Employees are in desperate need of training. When I walked in they were on their phones while struggling to close a sub with way too many veggies.
The cutting boards had were a disaster with sub paper and veggies and sauce all over the place.
I did not ask for extra veggies but was given over 20 olives and 12 jalapeños on my 6” sub. I don’t mind a little extra but a good portion of them went to waste because I didn’t order a salad.
They also need to learn when to change their gloves, they didn’t change them once between the three sandwiches I watched them make and the touching of their hats and whatnot.
My visit was at about 4:50 Sunday the 10th 2023
I understand that new employees have a lot to learn and I’m not upset, but I did not have an enjoyable experience and I would like to if I come back since I don’t live far away and I do like subway sandwiches.
(Update) for some reason stopped here again and it was just as bad or worse. The told me I had to wait because they “didn’t have anything to make my sub with”. You know the screens at McDonald’s where you just type in your order and it prints out a slip? Those machines have better customer service skills than the employees at this subway.
Simple orders take way too long to make. I’m not exaggerating. There is no greeting, no prompt to ask what you’d like to order, no have a great day.
At one point I had to explain that a Philly cheesesteak comes warmed by default and the employee kept saying you need to specify warmed when ordering. All logic was lost on that day.
I have visited this place 5 times in the last year. I usually wait a month or two before going back in hopes something changes and it never does. I understand that Subway franchises are easy to open up and relatively inexpensive, but please franchise owner, please train...

Then asked questions multiple times at the window. STILL messed up the order. They asked if I said spinach or salt and pepper? We had repeated spinach not salt and pepper at the speaker and directly at the window. I did get spinach, but they also put SOOO much pepper on my sub, I couldn't even eat it. If I did want pepper, which again I did not. The amount they put on was insane! That was only one of the mistakes. Also, women was wearing a mask, but not correctly.
