What a treasure! My wife & I happened into this wonderful store while on a weekend away in Tehachapi.

We chatted with the owners and found them to be very sweet people with a passion for kids to enjoy their play time and toys and not just be "numbed" by watching another video.

The wide selection of toys are ones designed to spark creativity, interactivity, and a fun time. There is a large selection of Melissa & Doug Toys, along with a host of other brands.

Things for children from babies to teens (and some things older kids-at-heart) would fully enjoy. Make sure you take some time in The Book Room. There were some books we had read to our kids, as well as some we will be getting for our grandchildren on our next trip.

This is a cute and adorable little gem of a place. It's a ma and pa store high atop the valley in the land of 4 seasons! Yes, I said it; we never approved of the "live up" logo designed by some back east marketing group! 😂

A real gem in Tehachapi and one of the coolest toy stores I have been to! This store has a unique variety of toys that encourage imagination and critical thinking skills which is important to me as a mother because I want my kids to learn while they play. High quality, great prices, awesome store set up with various rooms and the owners are the sweetest, most welcoming people ever. We always enjoy conversation and they encourage hands on play with the toys they have opened for young and old alike to enjoy :) Just...
