I was profiled twice as a Doordasher two different times for wearing a red mask (with the logo) while working and picking out items for customers back in September and just 3 weeks ago. Iām not sure if it was racially based and I would like to think not. I ignored the profiling the first time, but this time it was worse. As soon as I entered the store I asked for help just to deter any profiling due to last time. I showed the employee the items I was looking for on my phone via the doordash app, but that did not deter anything because within a minute or two after being directed from the first employee I had another stand next to me for 10 seconds just standing there and then leaving.
To prove her wrong I asked her for help. I do not know the store well so I asked yet another employee (the 3rd employee) for help for another item because for the second time entering this store as a Dasher I did not feel comfortable to even find the items. I asked for help to hurry and leave which is similar to last time.
As soon as I get near this employee the security guard has their back turned towards me because they were watching me. A person with gray headband, in a black skin tight active wear jacket, and bright green pants with a doordash mask to protect me and my customers due to recent surges in Covid. Despite people acting as if Covid is over, it is unfortunately not. I have delivered prescription medication to customers with Covid last month and this month. So I wear a mask to protect myself and customers.
Anyway, I am hyper aware to profiling because this is the 5th time since June as a Dasher in Temecula. I wish people would pay attention. All they see is me in a mask (while Iām working at that) and they assume the worst. What is unfortunate is that I try my best to dress nice, to wear bright clothes, and still I get profiled. In this case I asked for help by an employee as soon as I enter the store to deter profiling and I still have staff and security profiling me while trying to pick up items for a customer. It is all just very unfortunate as I am just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn 7/25/25 I had the best experience at Sephora while in Temecula for my anniversary! I popped in last minute needing a new foundation and a brow wax before dinner, and the team was amazing! As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted by a staff member who offered help right away. I was so relieved since the store was busy and I was short on time. I was quickly referred to Bree, who was absolutely amazing! She was so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. She found me the perfect foundation match and even recommended a beautiful liquid blush that I ended up loving. She also filled me in on the in-store events and which products were on sale super helpful!
Bree then helped me book a last-minute brow wax appointment, and the staff member who did my brows was just as professional and friendly. She even went the extra mile and helped fix my lashes, which I really appreciated. The brow wax was painless and if tipping was allowed, I absolutely wouldāve given both ladies a big one. I truly appreciate great customer service.
Even with how busy the store was, the team truly took the time to care for each customer. My entire experience was a 10/10. I live about an hour away, but if I need anything from Sephora again, Iāll definitely be coming back to this location. Great service like this deserves...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreāEdenā the one with the orange synthetic wig on 4/8/23, was the rudest employee iāve met at Sephora to date. Condescendingly speaking to me as if I wasnāt respectful to her and her subordinate employee was ridiculous. I asked about an in-store exchange for an item that I learned was over 60 days and policy states that they do not take returns. Instead of leaving it at that, she talked to me as if I was stupid, said she can only exchange it for me this one time in which I respectfully thanked her for. I stood in line the first time for 20 minutes because they had 1 employee during peak busy times working by herself. Then once trying to return, I told them the item I wanted was less than 5 steps from me, but they required me to get back in line instead of just continuing the transaction. Standing in line another 10-15, I watched Eden and another manager stare at me and laugh while waiting in line as if something was funny. I approached after waiting 2x just for the cashiers to roll their eyes and whisper when I came up. She needs serious customer service training and needs to be held accountable for her lack of professionalism. If you work with customers, be polite instead of talking to them like youāre better than them. She is a horrid excuse for management and I hope the store...
