I went to Kevin's looking for a pair of earrings for my wife. I did not expect to get the class on purchasing diamonds as I did, from the sales person by the name of Grace.
I had went to three other stores and had found the earrings that I was looking for at lesser price at a store other Kevin's. But the knowledge that I received from Grace was worth the price. Her patience and kindness was a selling point for me.
At one point she introduced me to her manager, whom was just as knowledgeable and helpful as she was. I'm sorry that I can't remember her name. But but my point is....... shopping at Kevin's Jewelry was a wonderful experience and the retail world should have more people like Grace, that allow you to have a feel good experience when making large purchases or even just simply spending hard earned money at the end of the day even if it wasn't a large purchase .
I have many choices as to where I can spend my money. I perfer to spend it, in a place that makes feel as if they appreciate my presence ...and as if I have choice to spend with them or anyone else.
Her service won me over...

Dropped off my fiancé's engagement ring to be sized and told them I wanted to keep the extra gold they were going to cut out ($300 dollars worth of gold, or $600 according to their ridiculously inflated prices... she has small fingers). Never got a call that the ring was completed, I had to go in there myself to check up on it. Once I went in, there was no extra gold with the ring. One particular employee lied to me and told me that anytime you downsize a ring there IS NO EXTRA GOLD, because they melt it together. However, after becoming angry and speaking with the person who helped me in the first place, he told me that they would get the ring sizer to bring the extra gold sometime the next week. These people are dishonest, untrustworthy, and do not know how to run a business. This wasn't the first disappointment that I have had while doing business with them during the process of buying the engagement ring. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS.    Read moreSo my husband told me he was going to get me a new set of rings because I could not fit into my original wedding rings after having my son. We went to four different jewelry store and I finally found the one I absolutely loved here. We had it set to get it resize and they said it was going to come on Thursday but they got it to me by Wednesday. I went to pick it up and it was even shinier and prettier than I remembered. I bought at home and felt like it was loose gave them a call. They said to just wait for a couple days just to make sure. My husband proceeded to examine the rings and realized that one of the diamonds on the side was missing. I brought my rings back to them no more than two hours after Iâve had it. They told me it was going to take 2 to 4 weeks before I can get my rings back!! And that they were going to inspect and make sure everything was secured. I would assume that they did that before I got my rings back but obviously not since I got it back with a missing diamond.
They are getting 3 stars right now until I get my rings and back hopefully everything...
