This place is a joke! The back of the receipt clearly states, "Hobby Lobby values customer satisfaction; with or without the receipt." I made it a point to ask the sales clerk if I could return the machine I was buying if it did not work with my computer, and she said yes and suggested that I hang on to my receipt if I needed to return the item. When I went to return the item a store clerk approached me while waiting in line to tell me they wouldn't accept my return and proceeded to turn her back to me and walk away. It was very awkward because she walked away to a register that was not in use and turned to just look at me from afar. I did not leave the line. She approached me again and started to ask "Don't you get it..." I was stunned. By the time It was my turn in line I told her again what I was told by the clerk and manager before purchasing that I could return with a receipt. She proceeded to tell me that there were memos sent about the new policy, which I as a customer did not see clearly displayed anywhere near the registers nor on the back of the receipt. when I asked to speak with someone else, a manager etc... I was informed that he read the memo too. huh? I was told I had to return to the manufacturer for repairs. Why would the manufacturer return my money. the machine needed no repairs, it just didn't work with my computer. Almost $300 just handed to Hobby Lobby. This was a great example of terrible customer service. This is the last time I tithe to these ass hats!

Read moreHave been a loyal customer for years but my visit today involved the absolute worst customer service. I was taking in a picture to have mounted into a very specific family frame. The items were large and as I got to the door to go in, there was a young male employee sitting on the door rail outside on his phone who watched me struggle to get the door open and then in with my items. Didn't offer to help or hold the door at all. I went to the framing department and first they assisted the customer who had come up after me first. When it was my turn, the assistant in the framing department quickly expressed that I would need to buy a frame from them. I have had several projects framed with them in the past where I brought in my frame and purchased the mat and paid for framing. I explained there was sentimental value to the frame we were using and it was obvious she did not want to frame my picture. She quickly measured and then told me it would be $120.00. when I asked for what, it was a very vague response and I stated I felt like she was not wanting to do my picture. She said nothing, offered no options or explanation and had no problem watching a customer walk away. Upon getting to the door to go outside, the same young male employee was still sitting on his phone and just looked at me as I struggled to get out the door. Read moreWe must have come in on an off day. We usually have a lot of fun at Hobby Lobby, all the ideas one can get. This has to be the worst experience we have ever had at a Hobby Lobby. The store was very busy. We didn't encounter any employees who were versed in what Customer Service is. It felt like while we were shopping, we were in the way and in the wrong. NOT ONE employee said excuse me, stopped yapping amongst themselves to ask if we were doing okay, needed help or I am sorry am I in your way. Most of the employees on the floor were busy stocking shelves, using ladders and not watching out for employees. One supervisor(?) was busy telling employees she wanted the top shelves cleared out and stuff put on shelves. We did overhear certain employees on the floor helping shoppers and they sounded really customer oriented. Kudos to them! This store is really overpriced on almost all of the items. Some of the clearance deals are great and others not so much. Only two registers open for as busy as it was. Please work on what Customer Service is...
