Kadel's Hallmark Shoppe — Local services in Terre Haute

This has got to be my very favorite store. From the very nice employees who always know me when I go in the door and take extra terrific care of everything I pre-order or need to find to the terrific owners who make you feel so special for shopping in their store. Their ornament premiere in July is one of the nicest store gatherings you will ever be blessed to attend. I just pray they never close their doors. I simply tried to call the store to ask a question. The owner (I recognized her voice from previous encounters) answered the phone by saying the store was opening late and that they don't check on the availability of ornaments. She then asked if that answered all my questions. Nothing else was said, not even a hello. I hadn't even said a single word yet. I was caught off guard by her rudeness. I didn't even respond and just hung up the phone. I used to do a lot of business with this location but quit because of this same rudeness from the owner. This Hallmark is the last one in Terre Haute and I drive all the way across town just to shop there. This should tell you how well I enjoy visiting this establishment. The sales women are very friendly and helpful. There is a wide variety of wonderful gifts to choose from, and the fudge is great. I haven't even mentioned the thousands of cards to choose from.
