I booked a wash and blowout for my daughter. I called and asked specifically for a shampoo and blowout and asked them to clarify her hair and to use a little bit of product so her hair wouldn’t get oily too fast and the blowout would last the weekend. I left instructions over the phone since it was her dad taking her. He said that they told him that they had no instructions and was wondering the service she needed. The picture I’m posting with this review is her “blow out.” This is of her immediately after coming home from the salon. I’m posting this review 1.5 hours after she walked out of the salon. This looks like her hair was quickly rough dried and this cost $35 plus tip.
Edit:
I have posted pics of my Vivint camera demonstrating how clear and sunny the weather was when my daughter arrived after the appointment. It did not start raining well after she was home. The salon is about a 15 min drive from our home so it was a short drive. To reiterate, the pic of the after was taken not even one hour after her appointment. And no, it wasn’t the rain, which ofc is out of all of our control and I feel insulted that it would be put out there that I would leave a bs review.
I was so specific about her being careful to not wet her hair, that I had her come home and take a shower before going to the salon so she wouldn’t struggle with keeping it dry later that evening during a shower before bed. Which is why she went to the salon in PJs. She was coming straight home to rest for her weekend trip.
I give my daughter a weekly blow out, and it typically lasts her 3 days so I know what her hair looks like right after and day to day. She also has clips that I taught her to use well so she could...
Read moreI wrote a detailed review but I pushed a wrong button and it got deleted. Basically I went in to try something new and fun. I asked for a dark turquoise color on tips of my hair. Didn’t want to go too wild. Specified not neon and not to my roots. The stylist showed me color sample mixes on a paper towel. I chose dark color. I guess she chose light. I was told before I started the process the color would last 1-2 months. Needless to say, as shown in the pictures, I got neon medium turquoise almost to my roots and it lasted FOUR DAYS… I gave them two stars because originally it turned out pretty even if it didn’t last and the manager did offer to add more color free of charge and give a free haircut. However $200 for something I didn’t ask for that lasts four days is pretty expensive and $100 to fix it back to my natural color brown (somewhere else) isn’t making me happy. Next time I’ll buy hair chalk.
Update: I have since found out from someone I know who went here for a hair cut, that the lady who did the color in my hair in these pics has moved to a different location. The ladies at this salon are still willing to make things right with me and I’ve been told were still making sure I was ok and got it fixed. Thank you for your concern ladies. I might try a hair cut next time I need one. I’ve always had good...
Read moreUPDATE ON PREV REVIEW: The manager did try to contact me but I did not answer. I will not be coming back to spend more money for them to screw up, nor do I appreciate the fact that when customers complain they talk badly about that customer in front of other customers. This is day 13 since my daughter had her hair done, and it looks horrible. The blue is basically washed out, the black is beginning to wash out. So now my daughter has this multi- colored mess; blonde, brown, black and spots of blue. My daughter is already socially awkward and this has made her miserable.
FIRST REVIEW: I Took my daughter here to get her hair colored and highlighted. The color highlights washed out in 9 days and I paid a lot of money. The stylist didn't know much she was getting help. Also someone came to complain about a bad hair cut while i was in there. Use another...
