Terrible service and terrible quality. I purchased my wedding band from them as I passed by and really liked a certain ring I found. I had worn my ring for roughly 9 of 10 months and it had become VERY worn and one of the inlays had fallen out. Keep in mind I work in an office setting and do NOT do anything I would call âroughâ on my ring. I took the ring in as I assumed the ring would be covered under the two year warrenty from defect that they state. The ring had to be sent back to Hawaii for them to inspect and repair the ring. I get a call weeks later stating that it would not be covered under warrenty as it was excessive wear and it was essentially my fault. The repair was stated to be almost 200. I said I would think about it and would let them know. I stopped into the store after deciding to let them know I would go ahead with the repair. They insisted that I prepay for the work before they would okay for it to be done. I asked if I could just pay when the repair was done. They said no. At this point as it had been several months of going back and forward with them of details and trying to get into contact as to why this wasnât a warrenty repair I became frustrated. I ended up telling them to just send the ring back as I was put off with this whole situation. They are erogant and had no touch of their âmahaloâ that they like to say every time the talk to you. Terrible quality and even worse customer service. For charging 600 for a basic band with terrible quality they sure have a lot of attitude. DO NOT BUY from them! Save your money and go to a different jeweler. The only âadvantageâ they have from anyone else is their unique styles but donât let it fool you. Just a bunch of corporate bull the same of the rest, including not honoring...
Read moreMy fiancé has gotten a lot of jewelry from Na Hoku for myself and his mom. We've always loved the experience. However, this last time wasn't so pleasant. We went in to see if we could get a ring resized. The lady who helped informed us it can't be resized but did mention another option. They had a lil thing that could fit behind the ring to make it fit. From there, she became condescending. Saying things like "if I give this to you, will you use it?" as if I was a child. She asked if I lost a lot of weight for the resizing. I asked if they had a smaller size, to which she replied, "I can't just give it to you." we hadn't even discussed payment. And I never asked for anything free. She then made comments about how the ring I had is already so small that they probably don't have anything smaller. Which did not make the condescension any better. Please DO support this company! They are still one of the only jeweler's we actually want to support. But I hope judgments and comments about weight or money will eventually be a thing...
Read moreIt makes me a bit sad to write this review but we went in and were set on buying my fiancĂ©s wedding band. The ring was a bit expensive so we wanted to see them all in person before saying a definite yes. The sales associate started asking about my engagement ring that I was wearing which was purchased from Na Hokuâs competitor. She completely shamed us for purchasing it saying the stone was endangered when that is in fact not the case. Itâs clear she knew the ring was purchased from their competitor and wasnât happy about it. I found it really inappropriate that she was commenting on my engagement ring and not the ring we were intending to buy. We were going to buy his band from here but itâs clear we need to...
