Unsatisfied. Was originally quoted 12-14 weeks has now been 24 to 30 weeks. That I would have been somewhat alright with given the circumstances of this Rona thing. When I had called to question about my order. I was transferred to the salesperson who had taken care of my order (who stated she is the only one person that she knows who works for the company with that name). When she answered the phone she had said to me she wasn't the one who had taken care of the sale and it must have been someone else that used her name. She said she "would" offer free delivery but she didn't want to step on anyone's toes. Now this may sound like a red herring but funny thing is I was transferred to the same store I purchased the items from. I had called again about a week later and was transferred to a central hub where the items were getting assembled at. A male answered the phone he said only 2 of the items were there and the 3rd was unknown and he had no idea about its whereabouts and he couldn't do anything about it. Kind of like an S.O.L situation. I finally went it to the store personally and the salesperson told me she sees its 24 weeks past due and it's going to be 4 more weeks delayed until they even get around to shipping. So at this point who knows the delivery date. The furniture was originally paid in full it was a steep purchase. I'm grateful I anything taken off the order. But the fact of the matter is. At least keep people updated of their order's.
Customer service was at least alright. They at last took my money go figure. Everything else...
Read moreThis whole experience will never happen again because this is the last time we will order from La-z-Boy. We were told 6 months and it took 8 months and 16 days from order date to delivery (259 days). No communication from La-z-Boy. We called in June and July within the timetable of 6 months. Then told maybe October. If you would have told us 8-9 months back in January we would not have ordered. NOT once did we get a call to tell us that the delay was longer. ONLY when WE called. Communication was terrible Then we sent a complaint thru the corporate website in August and then got a call from my sales person. Did we mention that my couch is damaged? Yeah, the bottom felt has a 5-6 inch cut and rub marks. The delivery guy was up front and gave us the option of accepting the delivery. Told us it could be 1-2 more months to get it fixed and delivered. We decided that after all this we were willing to accept a damaged $2348.71 order. Lack of communication, corporate not taking any responsibility, and damaged product. If we could leave a half star or a quarter we would have. Delivery guys were perfect and very professional (that is my positive out of the whole experience) Delivery guys where awesome!! The rest of the show we will mark it up...
Read moreNot only does La-Z-Boy make beautiful, durable furniture, the sales experience was astounding! Missy, with her thorough product and style knowledge/expertise, did a superb job during our visit and purchases. While we are replacing a 14-year-old La-Z-Boy sofa with a new sofa, Missy shared that La-Z-Boy springs have a lifetime warranty, so our old sofa will be kept with new springs and re-cushioning (the latter a nominal charge). Our dog will be happy to have her own leather sofa!
The only cons are that lead times are several months out, which will be tough over the next 4-5 months. A few more for custom furniture. Also, we wanted to purchase side tables but both of our selections were discontinued. These pieces were not marked as such, which wasted some of our time weighing purchasing decisions. Also, despite having damage to one of the tables, the max discount they could give on that piece was the same as purchasing any display piece, damaged or not. So, two points here, it would have been helpful if the pieces were marked as discontinued and it would have been helpful for discounts to be open to negotiation if willing to buy.
Still, max stars for the quality built within La-Z-Boy products and the best service...
