Prepare to be followed through the store and watched intently by one of the employees during your entire visit to this store!

If you are not a white, elderly female, be prepared: the white female employee who is about 55 years old, short, blonde, wears glasses, she WILL hound you. Even though there are cameras all over the store, this woman will follow you and watch your every move - it will wrack your nerves. Nevermind that the 80 year old grandma two feet away from YOU is shoving greeting cards in her purse and up her sleeves, this one employee is after YOU because you're obviously not a Christian, you're not elderly, and to make matters worse, you have the nerve to enter HER shop carrying a large handbag.

However, maybe the employee is fearful that people will get lost in the store and that's why she follows and watches so intently; still, it seems like she is playing store detective and she isn't very good at it.

Helpful hints for non-whites, non-Christians, and people younger than 60 years: don't carry a purse of any kind during your visit, avoid wearing clothing that has pockets, don't touch anything while you are in the store, try not to look around but to find what you want.

This store does not welcome people who are "different" and one of their employees isn't the least bit ashamed to let it show. My wife and I will take our business elsewhere after this sad encounter. That employee is a disgrace to the...

Staff is always pleasant, no matter how many questions you ask!

I hadn't been in a Hallmark in years until I needed a specific Willow Tree figurine immediately. (Apparently, Walmart and Meijer have cut back drastically on their selections of keepsake items). That was almost a year ago and now I stop in a few times a month. I had thought them to be expensive, however they have reasonable prices and a ton of coupons!

It's also much cheaper to buy their cards from them instead of a grocery or book store. Single or the 3/$5; 5/$10; etc.

Once again, the employees are simply amazing. They know the store and their stock well enough to help you find an item that fits your needs perfectly even if you don't. (They aren't forcing anything on to you, they're simply helping narrow down your options when you only have a general idea of a gift for someone.). It's almost as if they are your...

Some of the staff are friendly. I went in to apply for a position because of the sign out on the front of door for several months and the lady never greeted me as I came in the store. I believe she knew I was applying for the position. No one said hi was friendly as all 3 of them looked at me she proceeded to take my application asked about if I had listed my job experience at my age I have plenty have me a very nasty look and I felt uncomfortable and knew immediately she would not be hiring me. I felt discriminated against. I was a younger friendly face who had worked for a Hallmark Distribution Center. I'm very disappointed I signed up monthly subscription too and the same lady excluded me from getting my free card in the month of April and I was getting funeral and birthday cards.
