DETAILED PROS/CONS BELOW OVERALL: a fine hotel but there are many others in the area. For a $150 price point there might be better hotels nearby (although this was the highest rated on Google in the immediate area, so I could be wrong here). I'm a stickler for having a variety of lighting options in a room and they failed miserably on that front so I docked a star. If you don't care about that consider this a 4 star review. Pros: Service was great. Breakfast solid. Huge hotel with lots of rooms so capacity is a plus. Other guests were not noisy during our stay. Free wifi and continental breakfast until 10am. Bathrooms are nice and have vent fans. No need bugs. Mini fridge and safe included. Neutral: Beds are fine. Not quite as nice as I've found at other similarly priced hotels. The rooms have carpet and ours has a myriad of stains. Cons: The lighting options suck. There's no good way to have dim lights at night. The best option I could find was leaving the microwave door open. Also, the room TV was quite dated.

So I'm a Hilton member and usually have nothing but good experiences. But this Hilton location was absolutely horrible, the TV had no signal and after about 10 seconds every channel I tried would scramble. The lady at the front desk was rude and super unfriendly. She acted like checking me in was big bother. She barely put her phone down and never even made eye contact with me. Just absolutely terrible service and a terrible experience. Definitely not what I've come to expect from the Hilton hotels. I travel a lot for work and really considering switching to holiday inn from now on. The location got 3 stars because of the amount of restaurants around. This is the worst stay I've ever had at a Hilton and I'm stuck here for the rest of the week.

Happy with our stay here. Room is spacious and clean. Staff is friendly and made us feel comfortable. We saw great reviews of breakfast but it still exceeded our expectation. Smoothies are not only fresh but also tasted pretty good! Fresh fruits are fresh not from cans. They offer two different waffle batters (banana). And kids ahh awh when they saw variety of toppings: whipped cream, chocolate syrup, caramal... :-) they had the normal hot stuff too: omelet egg with cheese inside and ham etc. the sitting area is roomy with interior design. this is definitely among our best breakfast experience in our decades of traveling experience. Heading to another Hampton in another location soon. Can’t wait for it.

This was the third (and last) time that we will stay here. We visited in April of 2024 and again in June of 2024. The room is great. It has 2 king size beds and a queen size pullout sofa. The breakfast is also good; it is your typical hotel breakfast with waffles, pancakes and the eggs and meat. They also have coffee, milk, juice, and water as well as cereal. In April, we didn't have any bedding for the pullout so we had to ask for it. We were in town for the eclipse and the hotel was busy. We were next to a family who had young kids and the family did nothing to keep them quiet - even at midnight, at 1am and at 2am. We asked the hotel to communicate that they were being too loud and they would not. The kids were running around, jumping on the floor and yelling. Now, while we normally would brush that off the worst part was the bathroom. The tub did not drain and the water pressure was horrible. When we checked out we let the front desk staff know about the issue. ||We returned in June for another event in town. When we checked in we asked for extra pillows (the pillows they have should be thrown out - there is no fluff left and you may as well have nothing). The woman checking us in looked at us like we were crazy but thankfully she provided the extra pillows because we needed them.||I also made the unfortunate mistake of booking the same room (I did not recall the room number but my family did). Our first shower the morning after we checked in confirmed that it was indeed the same room as the tub still did not drain (this is 2 months later) and the water pressure was horrible (there is an issue with the shower diverter valve so when you pull up to have the water come out of the shower head some of the water still comes out of the faucet) and the tub STILL did not drain (I know I mentioned this but it was 2 months later) so well took showers with water up to our ankles (yes, we let the tub drain before others got in). ||HOWEVER, the worst thing was upon putting our stuff away and throwing out some garbage we discovered that the garbage had not been emptied from the prior people who had stayed in the room. There is a woman on social media who brings a bag of stuff with her to clean her hotel rooms and I have always thought that was a bit overboard until the full garbage can had me double checking the room. ||Upon checking out, we once again let the front desk staff know about the issues.||Ironically, we received a text from Elijah who wanted to know how things were going. I texted him back and didn't receive a response. ||We had an 8 day stay booked here for this coming August and I just cancelled it and we will be going to a different hotel...

My husband and I booked a suite with our children to take them away for the weekend because our business is very demanding and we just wanted them to relax as well as ourselves and from the moment we arrived we were harassed. When my husband first checked in the lady at the front desk was very unwelcoming and as a deterrent not to stay there, asked him if he knew it was a $250 deposit because he was a Toledo resident and when he proceeded to pay she look upset as if her deterrent didnt work in her favor. Later, our family was in the pool along with other guest and a man came in and stood there yelling, "whomever is not a registered guest needs to get out of the pool now!!", . Along with the other guest we all just look at him puzzled and he yelled it 2 more times and thats when a lady said to him," is it someone specificly your looking for?, if so just tell them because we are all registered here,". The man then leaves out. Then at 11pm that same day I was walking and talking to my husband around the room getting clothes etc.. ready for the next day and a man comes to my room and says there's a noise complaint, I tell him im sorry but all im doing is walking around. Then he asks if I have small children and I said yes with a puzzled look on my face because what does me having small children have to do with it, they were a sleep. So when I go to the front desk and asks both men from that day what is going on with them and my family the man that yelled at everyone from the pool says," mam it's because we have a problem with Toledo residents coming here and booking rooms to have pool parties. This hotel is geared towards corporate people only!" Wow!! So because i have a family in the pool we are targeted?? We immediately packed our children up and left! So rude!! I have never been so harassed by a hotel in my life and the reason we were harassed by our hometown is because we are from here and brought our kids?? Will never stay there again!! They recieve 2 stars from us only because the rooms were very nice, clean...

Incredibly frustrated with my experience this weekend. Was part of a wedding block and the rooms and common areas were very clean and nice. Service on the other hand left a lot to be desired. On Saturday morning we were awakened by loud thumping above us, at 7am in the morning, it sounded as if kids were just jumping off beds and doing all sorts of tumbling around. Loud enough to wake us both from a dead sleep. Attempted to call down to the desk however out phone was not functional. Called the hotel by cell, explained what was going on and staff stated would handle it. Wait 20 minutes only for the noise to continue. Called again, staff was rude and very obviously annoyed stating "I already went up there and didnt hear anything and nobody is answering the phone but I guess I'll try again". Noise didnt stop for about another hour. THEN at 930 am we were awakened to housekeeping pounding on the door. I'm not talking a subtle knock, it was full on police pounding on the door. My BF answered the door, informed the maid we were here for 2 nights and not checking out and she went away with no apology of having woke us up. After the wedding the couple had rented the meeting room at the hotel and the employee working overnight could not have made it any clearer how annoyed and irritated she was by the people still up. Upon check out I had zero opportunity to express my concerns as there was a lobby full of people checking out, with ONE employee who took my keys, stated they would email my bill and to have a nice day. Was not asked if my stay was OK, if I had any concerns, etc. I'm a marriot rewards member but signed up for hilton points this trip and I can honestly say I've never had an experience like this with Marriott and think that's where I will continue to stay from here on out. Not...
