I loved the food but the customer service leaves something to be desired. Both times I have tried pre-ordering lunch for my office I was met with difficulties. First time, the young lady was rude in her tone and refused to write down our order for the next day, forcing me to call in the middle of a busy work day to get our order in. I have worked in restaurants for 7 years, and customer service for more then 15 years, and I would never have treated my customer the way this restaurant has. For example, Many large to-go orders would be called in at the office's convenience, written down and then placed at the appropriate time the next day so the customer could pick up the order when it worked well for their timed lunch. Then the order would be picked up and paid for at the time of pick up. This restaurant refused to allow us to put an order in when it was convenient for our schedule, and then they refused to get the order started until the food was paid for. Since our office has Sales Reps that come and bring lunch, this is not easy for us to supply the credit card information over the phone. If the sales Rep is busy traveling and not able to get her credit card out, this would put our lunch back and hinder our office and our clients. When speaking to the manager, she was less then helpful. As a customer and one who has worked customer service for a long time, this restaurant may have good food, but this customer won't go back due to the lack of customer care. I hope they review their policies and work with their customers not against them. When I got my food it was not what I had ordered. I asked for medium heat for my Kung Pao and it had no heat at all. My co-worker had ordered a strawberry smoothie and we never received the item, but we paid for it. The food is not worth the hassle, rude tone, and lack of customer service. Try them at...
Read moreDisappointed Vegan Experience Vegans, beware! This restaurant misrepresents itself as vegan-friendly. Even attempting to order something as simple as broccoli is not safe for vegans. The water used to blanch the broccoli is the same water used for meat, leading to significant cross-contamination. I struggled to find anything on the menu that would be suitable for strict vegans who need to avoid any contact with meat products. Furthermore, the serving sizes were disappointingly small. My mother ordered a meat and broccoli vegetable dish, and the portion of vegetables provided was quite stingy. The prices were also quite high for the meal received. Having traveled from Atlanta to visit family in Toledo, I expected better. In Atlanta, the serving size to price ratio is approximately 2 to 1 compared to what I experienced here. I was very disappointed, especially after reading reviews that claimed this place was vegan-friendly. FYI, MSG is contained in all their pre-made sauces! This is definitely not a safe dining option for vegans. Stay away, or you may find yourself having a...
Read moreVery low quality sauce & spice ingredients that (unfortunately) you can taste in every bite. Not at all "premium quality Asian Fusion" as they describe themselves on OpenTable. For example, check the "ingredients list" on their To Go soy sauce packs - they contain No Soy Sauce! (It's caramelized salt water & preservatives.) I am sure the same lowest quality cheap imitation ingredients are used in the kichen for every dish.
The staff was very friendly & sweet, and the portions were generous considering the low prices. For this reason alone I gave QQ an extra star.
Regrettably, bland generic sauces offered no distinctive flavor at all... More like thickened bullion cube & water. I lived in Asia for over a decade... Sadly there are no Asian flavors here.
Covid has been brutal on restaurants, especially small family restaurants... So I don't want to be unkind. But in truth, the food across the street at Hong Kong Buffet, especially when ordered off the Menu (not the buffet line) is much better (tho still not genuinely authentic) for just a...
