The Casual Pint of Toledo — Restaurant in Toledo

The Casual Pint Toledo located at 3550 Executive Pkwy, Toledo, OH 43606 opened in April of 2018. This should be a great spot for all of the guest staying across the street at the three new hotels; Hampton Inn Holiday Inn Express & Suites and a third one that's still under construction, considering neither of the first two have a bar in the lobby. It's in walking distance about a 1/4 mile. I consider it an upscale craft beer house. I've passed it hundreds of times always too busy to stop, but saying I'll have to stop in and check it out. Stopped in Saturday night just before closing/midnight, I didn't get to try any of the food because the kitchen closes a hour before the bar. I did try one of the craft beers by Columbus Brewing Company - Bodhi, great selection, reasonably priced. They have 36 beers on tap (from 2.5% - 15% ABV) and probably 100 + cans & bottles. I'll have to make another stop so I can try the food, but what I seen so far I really like. I'll be editing my review...

The beer and the service are always topnotch! Love the community this establishment cultivates! However, I will say that I was rather disappointed in the chips and dip trio - the dips were miniscule for 9 whole dollars and didn't have anything special about them. The chips were good which was honestly necessary since the dips barely even covered a quarter of the chips. On top of that, they couldn't make mocktails because everything is premixed, their NA beers were only in bottles (none on draft), and their other option for nonalcoholic beverages was a THC beer. If you're going with a group aka a mix of preferences, this is not the place to go. However if you'd like a great beer and a cool atmosphere, you won't...

Stopped in to buy some bottles. Had $50 of beer in my hands and stood there like an idiot in front of the back register waiting for the two waitresses/cashiers to finish their discussion. After a couple minutes, I finally caught a pause and asked if I was in the right spot to pay for bottles and they completely ignored me! No eye contact, no acknowledgment of any kind! I almost put the beer down and left.

We finally gave up on these two ladies at the back register and walked to the front register to see if they would let us pay for beer...
