New review: 9/30/2020 around 2:30pm ::I am adding this to my previous review below. Lately Whataburger at this location has been doing 100xs better. With more professional employees. I had a wonderful experience today from the employee Josh who delivered my food to me in lane B. He saw the military visa card I was using (told him my dad was in the navy) and he asked that I thank my dad for his service. Very polite. Very positive and it was a delite chatting with him while he was running my card. This is why I go to whataburger. This is what I'm talking about! Keep up the amazing work everyone!
Previous review:::I have been coming to this location on and off for 12 years. These last 3-5 months this location hasn't been doing well. Incorrect orders, short food items and poor quality food. Today was my last straw, and I felt the need to share my bad experience. My boyfriend ordered the Buffalo ranch sandwich, it had too much sauce and it made his stomach hurt. The sweet tea had too much tea flavor that it's flavor was stronger than the much loved sweetness of the tea. I ordered the chicken strip and I got shorted my toast. (This is just today there's about 11 other failed trips here I never mentioned) At the price whataburger holds and their reputation for quality and quantity, being short anything is a shock. This location has been letting me down for months and I just want this issue to be fixed. There's alot of new faces every month. Meaning the turn over rate may be too high pointing toward management. Whataburger is probably the most popular joint in Tomball. I hope they can fix the issues at this location that is obviously happening on the inside. Also this location deserves a bigger parking lot because of how popular it is, it'd only bring more business. So corporate needs to invest in one. Maybe buy out the lot next to it that I've never seen be used...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePlace an order on the app overnight. Restaurant had about 5 employees, maybe 4 lobby orders, maybe 4 drive through orders. My online order was forgotten about, said there would be another 20 minute wait, I'm sure it would be closer to 30. Employees looked clueless and moved very slow and unmotivated, I mean really slow, like they were on drugs, they were trying to grab chicken strips with tongs and were having a very difficult time picking up one, like using multiple quarters to pick up a prize with a claw machine that kept slipping out the claw. They were that inept. I blame the management for hiring such a terrible overnight staff, every single one of them looked useless, they said they were not good at their jobs because they had only been there three months... three months... how long do you need to get good at running a fast food joint, it's three months, not three weeks. And to cancel an app order, they told me I had to call customer service... it's fast food, for Christ's sake, not computer problem. If you can't cancel an app order normally you shouldn't have an app at all. I swear, once Chicago bought out Whataburger, the restaurant chain...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was just here and paid extra for bacon on 1 of the burgers and got back to room and no bacon. Called and talked to Maria who said she was one of the managers and told me next time I visit they would ad the bacon I already paid for. Dont get me wrong I like Whataburger and normally service very good but when your expecting something you paid for and its not there it makes you mad and like not want to go back because you loose confidence in there service etc. Because who wants the other food to get cold while you deal with employee mistakes. Let me tell you its a big deal and its not about the bacon its about getting it right everytime. You know if someone misreads a order and fills it wrong and someone forgets and puts tomatoes on a exclude tomato etc and they open it and have a severe allergy whats going to happen to that person and what is whataburger going to tell the person who died Im sorry we will fix it next time you come in? I know this is a outrageous example but it follows the same premise get it...
