Well... here I am 2 years later because this location duped me into buying a protection plan that does not even apply to my product. Should have known better.. Office Depot chairs are garbage.. Bought a Serta chair from them less than 3 years ago. Ended up buying the protection plan at the time because the cashier told me it would cover all cracks peels and damage to the finish and material entirely. Within the 1st year I had to warranty claim this chair 4 times. But now that it's past 12 months I had to file a claim with the protection plan which is from Allstate Protection Plans. The very first item advertised as being "covered" on the Office Depot website is "Seam separation". However, when I file a claim for seam separation (yes the threads that hold the sections together) because the cushion is coming apart again, they deny the claim saying it is due to "cracking and peeling". Next day, I get a phone call from Allstate, where they tried to explain to me why my claim was denied. The guy says "the reason it was denied is because LEATHER is not covered under the protection plan." You heard that right, LEATHER is excluded from protection plans. Do NOT buy "leather" from Office Depot, and do not buy the protection plan for them either. The employee at this location sold me a protection plan that does not even apply to the product I purchased. Straight theft...
Read moreI came here to get my storybook printed for one of my college classes. I had anything but a good first experience at this place. There was this horribly rude older woman running the printing center. While waiting in line, I saw her raising her voice at a lady in front of me, and I found myself thinking, “please let me get helped by the other person.” Unfortunately, the odds weren’t in my favor. My anxiety was through the roof while dealing with this woman. It was so bad to where I felt scared to tell her if my print documents needed to be altered. She was stomping around behind the desk, slamming print copies in the trash can, and getting very visibly and vocally annoyed with me. Because her print job was so bad, I had to return to get it redone a couple days later since this is the closest Office Depot to home. I was actually reluctant to come back in fear that I would have to deal with this woman again. Thankfully, there were different folks working that day, and they got the job done right. Their customer service was exceptional. All my requests were met, and I left with a positive experience. Sadly, I did not catch this woman’s name, but if you’re wanting print services and she happens to be running the desk, turn and run. Go to another Office Depot if you have to. With her booming voice and nasty attitude, you’ll be able to tell it’s her. She’s...
Read moreI’d give this review 0 stars if I could. I came in this location today to print copies and, to my surprise apparently the lady at the counter should’ve stayed home today. Unfortunately for consumers, she’s still employed here (as I am most certain the review a little below mine is referencing the same lady- I believe her name is Linda, short for Melinda as the associates told me.) This woman has NO BUSINESS working in customer service or anywhere there is people for that matter. She ignored and looked right past me when I approached the counter to ask a question, then proceeded to yell about making copies. YELL- in 2023, in a professional organization that has kept her employed. She was beyond disrespectful and classless, a risk for any organization that has any regular consumer. Thankfully the newer associates were able to get me the manager Michelle- who honestly shouldn’t have to spend her day on corrective action with a senior citizen who should know better- to assist, and she was apologetic. This location would benefit greatly without that person aforementioned- what a cancer she is to...
