Rainbow Shops — Local services in Toms River

This became my favorite store after my real favorite store closed (=Mandee=) but recently that all changed. Highly disappointed in their customer service. Today was the last day I will ever set foot through their doors. They refused to exchange a $5 shirt for another $5 shirt. The shirt I bought originally at the buy one get one half off became $2.50. So thinking if I went with my receipt, tags still attatched, same shirt still on the $5 rack (it hadn't been further reduced) I grabbed another $5 shirt from the same rack lol and they refused to exchange it because..I had the receipt showing I paid $2.50. I said ok so if I didn't have the receipt you would exchange it? The MANAGER said yes! The whole thing was so ridiculous to me that I vowed never to shop there again even tho I normally get..my bras..my panties..my jeans..my purses..pretty much all my outfits anytime I need to go anywhere lol but not any more all because they refused to exchange my $5 shirt😂😂😂 even though I understood I disagreed. So I spent my last $20 they will ever get from me today because I am going on vacation and I needed those jeans lol....

Great place to shop with great clothes however the experience at this place is trash. There are no fitting rooms so you have to guess if something will fit you and you’re not allowed to return anything. The staff will tell you you can return something then when you go to return it they tell you they tell you can’t. I absolutely love rainbow and this store has the best selection but the staff and “new policy” is making me think again about shopping at rainbow. Gas is not cheap and I just wasted money on things I can not return now and gas to get to and from the store because an employee told me on the phone this morning when I called to make sure I could return the items I wanted to return before I went to the store that now I can not return. My better half goes in there when they have their sale days and still going there and shop for up to two hours and I said my truck and relax enjoy it and there's a rainbow in this shopping center right off of Route 37 on the eastbound side between 166 and Route 37 and coming off the parkway's right there as well she'll go in there and spend so much money but when she comes out and she shows me the receipt where she just got $250 worth of clothes for $45 I'm amazed and with her she well 3 and her daughters and and daughter-in-laws and the family show let the kids come there and pick through some of the stuff that she bought cuz she doesn't just buy for herself but Rainbows are great place to go.
