Staples Toms River, knocked it out of the park. Completely panicked what I was going to do for gifts for family (daughter w family of 4), my immediate family, and my extended family…, and all an extremely tight budget, $10 per person… it was an extremely rough year that consisted of sickness, passings, job loss, etc. ….I was completely depressed this morning…and avoided any shopping…. This morning, Christmas Eve…..9am with $60 in my pocket…I was looking to maybe find a nice family photo I can print, CVS, head to dollar store for frames, and gift everyone the same family photo… I began going onto everybody’s Facebook pages and by the time I was done I collected and saved over 300 photos….. but I just needed one! when I went onto staples.com I see a $10.95 full size personalized - ready same day! I went to work! Downloaded a collage / picture app (PiZap) and created collages for each month, for each family member group! By 11am, it was ordered thru the app & by 12 NOON, ONE HOUR LATER I received the call that they were ready!!!! Less than $60 total for 5 sets of family calendars ….All personalized to there families (ea one includes at least 75 photo's each x’s 5…… recent pictures, baby pictures! I picked them up, beautifully themed, with amazing layouts .. I got home, began to skim them and cried! The JOY ! The quality is insane, even the photos that had to be screenshots, and I thought would come out blurry… I can NOT WAIT to hand out my gifts this evening to my family, now with young growing families of there own! THANK YOU STAPLES!!!!!! For keeping the costs SO AFFORDABLE ($10.95) and making this Christmas take a U-Turn for this struggling Mama/Mimi xoxoxoxoxo!...
Read moreI just want to clarify that this is the staples in the shoprite plaza. I'm rating this from my experience with staples and their affiliation with being a "ups" store. It's basically false advertising and they don't provide the services that you would expect from a full service ups store. First off I went in thinking wow this is so convenient having a ups store inside the staples which is way closer than the real ups store across town. I went in to try to scan a qr code from Amazon and they couldn't do that so I ended up not being to ship my package that day because I already started the return process with Amazon. I then tried to ship another item that I preprinted the return label for. The box that I chose had a big sign that said 69¢ so I was like well that's super reasonable for a box so I had it packed ($1 for tape) still ok since the post office makes you buy a whole roll of tape. When I was being rung up apparently it was 69¢ only if you buy 3 or more boxes. I ended up just leaving with all my stuff and wasting my time there. I would never go there again thinking I was going to do any kind of ups shipping. I usually never comment about demeanor of associates because that's so subjective, but the manager behind the office desk was just plain unpleasant. I can see why they have such a low rating on Yelp and google. It's sad that the majority of their customers are seniors that are...
Read moreThis is by far the worst Staples location. A simple 6 page print order was a huge ordeal, they clearly have no concept of customer service. It is 100% worth a further drive to go to a different location as I order at least $5000 worth of prints annually for my company an have never had an issue at the Sea Girt Location. After receiving online confirmation of same day pickup my order was not ready when I arrived, I asked if they could help me as I was told it would be ready after 1:30 pm and my order was only 6 pages. I was told NO that it would be done tomorrow that other orders were ahead of mine. . . BUT they could do it if I wanted to spend 30% higher. After declining I came back to pick up the following day and asked if I could please use their manual self cutter (which I have used many times in the past, it is usually left out in their print center along with a stapler and some paper clips for convenience) I was told it was "down" I asked how a manual could be broken and the guy told me. . . well we keep it behind the counter and if you want to use it you have to order your prints with cuts and pay for it. I am honestly outraged by the huge inconsistency from one store to another. I will for sure not be giving this location my...
