I don’t normally leave negative reviews, and while Ashley’s always makes things right, some retraining is necessary when scheduling for people’s furniture deliveries. Not very satisfied when I talk to Wes on 9/15/20 and he informs me that part of my order is ready but the other part of it is going to take roughly 20 weeks to get here rather than the aforementioned 8-12 weeks. I have no problem with this as I understand there is a pandemic and things are taking much longer. Wes gave the option of having the part of the order that is ready delivered and waiting on the other part, or I could wait for the whole order when the rest of it was ready for it all to be delivered at once. We chose the first option to get the part of our order that was ready. Here’s what I’m upset about: Wes scheduled the delivery for sept 24 as I agreed to since I would be off that day. I asked the time frame that it would be delivered and he said I would receive a call a couple days ahead for this info. Here it is the 22nd and I thought I would call just to see a time frame for delivery on the 24th and Aaron answers. He informs me that the furniture is actually being delivered on the 28th which I never agreed to; and that he doesn’t have a crew in on the 24th. Why was this delivery date picked without my consent when I originally agreed to the 24th? I was not happy with the lack of concern or customer service from Aaron. No apologies for the mishap or anything. We were able to reschedule but it is challenging to find a date to do so where someone would be home to accept the delivery.
Update: customer service directed me to call the local customer service number to which Aaron again answered. I asked to be transferred to another member in management, to which he responded that he was management. After expressing my dissatisfaction with the customer service he provided, he suggested that I got the date mixed up (insinuating I lied), and that it could happen to anyone. He then proceeded to retract what he said by saying he’s not trying to call me a liar. He explained that Tony put the 28th in the notes for delivery and that maybe with my busy schedule I got it mixed up (also, I’m pretty sure I talked to Wes on the 15th, not Tony). After I expressed I’m not upset about the dates being rearranged, I’m more upset with the lack of his concern for the situation the first time I spoke with him, he became more remorseful.

Read moreI had the absolute best experience today at the Ashley in Topeka . I drove an hour out to this store today with my mom looking for new furniture for my new home.
I was greeted by Joy who was phenomenal she had so much knowledge and was so helpful but wasn’t pushy and gave us our space to look around but checked in with us and answered questions we had.
As I was getting to the end of choosing my selections Michael checkin in on us and was a rockstar . He helped us with comparing prices online and in store to make sure we were getting the best deal on the prices for the pieces I chose.
The process was so easy and Michael and Joy made the experience just amazing with how incredibly friendly and knowledgeable they both were.
I had been to a lot of other furniture stores before coming to Ashley and I just hadn’t found the right pieces . And I think a lot of it was due to hovering and pushy sales people who wouldn’t allow me any room to breathe and just browse and decide what I truly wanted and what would look good in my home.
Michael and Joy were the perfect combo of helpful but not pushy just available if they were needed and I was so appreciative of that.
I ended up picking out a new couch and ottoman. New dresser and mirror. New king bed. End tables and lamps. A new dining room table and chairs. And new kitchen table and chairs.
And I’m so happy with all of the items I found. The quality of the furniture is amazing without breaking the bank. I will definitely be back very soon to continue to purchase items to fit in...
Read moreThe people there are very nice and helpful, I don’t remember who exactly helped us but he was very nice! BUT I ordered my chairs LAST YEAR on December 22nd and its been about a month and a half since! I STILL DONT HAVE MY CHAIRS in and everytime I call them about the chairs they say to wait another week......how about you guys figure out where my chairs are that I already paid for, thanks! I will be going in there physically to speak to someone about getting my order and if they cant speed it up then im demanding a full refund.

Im changing my 2 stars to 5 stars. So after my review, someone from Ashely Furniture (sorry I am very bad with names) actually REACHED OUT TO ME and looked into my situation and explained to me what happened and made a positive attempt to give me options and how to fix the situation I was in, and I REALLY APPRECIATE that! Unfortunately they didn’t have full sets of bar stools that came in 4 so I asked for a refund and everything went smoothly!
