Crumbl — Restaurant in Topeka

I was hoping to take a sweet treat for my dental hygienist as today was her birthday. When I went in I decided to get the 3 cookie package. I couldn’t get the order to go through and tried asking the nearest employee for some assistance. She wouldn’t acknowledge me so I finally got the attention of the young girl in the back. She also tried to get the order through and finally said that they didn’t have any boxes for the 3 pack. I asked if they could put it in a bag or use another size box. She had to go in the back and ask I guess the manager (who never made an appearance) if that was possible. Again I was told that I could not purchase 3 cookies but only 6 or a dozen. Instead of them accommodating what I needed, they wanted to force me to upgrade by $7. I said I didn’t want to spend $7 more dollars and then was told they couldn’t help me. I was willing to take the 3 cookies anyway I could but the only option was to pay $7 more! Again never saw the manager and the sour employee in the front never helped. I would have liked to have taken my hygienist Crumbl cookies but I went to Dirty Dough and got some delicious cookies instead. My own experience of The General Manager, Chante & staff of our Topeka Crumbl is different than sharing a few words. The Crumblers have filled my Hope Mobile with Love via donated cookies up to 6 days a week for a year and a half. Beyond the cookies that are scratch made, they are personally supportive of Hope Dealing through our community. Chante made a decision that Crumbl is a drop off site for shelf stable food to be placed in the more than 40 Bee The Blessing Boxes 🐝 throughout town. They have helped sponsor 2 boxes on residential property and just recently a NEWLY constructed LARGE blessing box on the property of our local Foster Care support center, KVC. Crumblers are also pivotal parts of helping me support KVC. Accepting donations during any open hours, which are Many… for our kids in foster care. They also recently assembled back pack charms with motivational sayings and personal notes to give to kids that need encouraged. The staff and service are amazing. It was easy to go in, place my order, and receive my cookies quickly. I have no doubt management and the workers were following Crumbl’s procedures. The issues I have are with the quality of the cookies and the price.

We got a sample of all six cookies offered that week. I had to look up the menu to see what flavors I was supposed to be experiencing. The snickerdoodle looked right, but had barely any hint of cinnamon. All that either one of us tasted was sweetness. Even the chocolate chip cookie was dull and doughy compared to anything you can make for yourself at home. The chocolate was just slightly different texture than the dough instead of a unique flavor. The only flavors that ever stood out were when they were isolated apart from the dough like the blackberry jam on top. Otherwise it was just sweet on sweet topped with more sweetness.
