Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Topeka

The manager was really rude! And the buffet starred bare almost the entire time we were there! At most there was 3 pizzas at a time! We spent most of our time watching the buffet waiting for them to put more pizza on it! We ordered a pizza which they told us would be on the buffet in about 10 minutes and we had to reorder it over 20 minutes later because they never put it out. I went with my 3 children who are 12, 10, and 4. I told her one adult and three children (thinking children was 12 and under) and the manager rudely asked me how old my children were and I told her and she says "then you have to pay for 2 adults and 2 children" I asked her why and she told me that children were 10 and under. At that point I didn't even want to give my money to them based solely on how rude she was. But my kids were starving and that's what they had been looking forward to eating all day. The people behind ne had children and she just said "all your children are 12 and under right" so I'm not sure went she handled me so rudely! Then my 4yo didn't end up eating so I went right back up there and told her my little one wasn't eating so I needed a refund. She gave me my refund and watched my table like a hawk then she stopped my middle daughter and tells her "you'r sister isn't supposed to be eating" and my daughter told her that she wasn't eating and she came back saying "yes she is we saw you take her food" the whole time she was talking about my oldest daughter which was why my daughter didn't know what she was talking about. The simple fact that she questioned my daughter was totally out of order!!! If she felt like something was wrong she should've came to ME! NOT MY 10 YEAR OLD CHILD! I was livid she basically called my daughter a liar because SHE had confused which child I was...

Came here as a lunch meeting with the regional manager of a nearby bank chain. I was looking for the finest pizza in Topeka after a falling out with Papa John's, turns out John at the register wasn't the real Papa. I don't know how they can get away with that deception, but I digress.

I showed up in my new lunch meeting Sinyari (made in America) suit I had bought from Amazon at the steep price of $299 + shipping. Upon entrance I was zestily greeted by a young lad proclaiming "Welcome to CiCis!", I was immediately surprised by the zeal of the employees. Most food places can't hold employee motivation like that.

Emboldened, I stepped forward and ordered a buffet with a drink at the price of $8.49. What a deal!

After dodging the salad bar I went straight for the pies. The pepperoni was crisp and the stuffed crust was perfectly moist like the first tear of a newborn angel.

After fifteen minutes of nervous pizza eating it became clear to me that my lunch partner wasn't coming, but after a brief internal crisis the soft cinnamon rolls renewed me with vigor and set me on my feet again.

I am definitely losing my mortgage but at least I feel full and happy. They say the average stomach can hold two pints, but my friend I ate two gallons that day.

Overall I'd give it a 5/7. Might come...

We walked in and seen only 2 pizzas ready. It was what I would call semi- busy as far as the amount of people in the restaurant, and I still had to ask them to make fresh pizzas. Me and my kids had only been there 15 minutes and one of the workers started cleaning tables and putting up chairs. I asked her if they were closing early, and she said no. She continued to put up chairs and spraying cleaning spray on the tables. The spray she used had a super strong chemical odor and made me and me kids cough. It pissed me off and I tried to let someone in charge know. Not sure if they really had a manager their. This same day there was a little baby (maybe 2-3 years old) sitting in a closet next to the restrooms. He came out and was crying and multiple customers told other staffers that there is a baby walking around crying. They told me that it was the lady who was cleaning's baby. I took a picture to send a friend of the chairs. It was a little after 8pm, but closing time isn't until 10pm. This is about the 3rd time I've seen this happen. I'm over it, and the service is no where like it was 12 months ago....
