I usually eat here , tonight there was a new waitress. I’ve never seen her younger ,black hair ,tattoo on the neck, light skin, Latina, looking girl.23-30 yrs, EXTREMELY rude to us she came to the table before the waitress and straight out says loud and unfriendly, bothered..“ Do you guys want drinks”? No, hi, how are you guys this evening? No smiles. The vibe was really bad like she was bothered having to take our order. I thought right away wow she must be having a horrible night so then we gave her our order for drinks and she walks off. She comes back with the drinks and leaves them there and she tells us that the waitress will come back. She proceeds to come back later on to a table next to us which were a different race and she was much more different with them more nicer you can say ..they were white, we are Latino like her? ..also so I’m not sure where the attitude was coming from ? We were all finished with our meals, but I wanted a box to go for my daughter and a box for me. My daughter wanted a refill on her drink so she’s walking by After she’s done talking to the other family across from us She doesn’t even stop to our table to see if we need anything, as she’s walking from the middle of the tables towards the kitchen/front . She says “are you ready for the check “…so then I had it with her hostile attitude towards us, and I replied back in a stern voice, like a command, told her get me a 2 boxes and get me a refill . I didn’t notice, but my boyfriend said that she turned around to look at her coworker that was in the back (back tables) having a break, I guess he was eating back there and she was shaking her head in disbelief like she can’t believe they’re bothering me to bring them Items.. let me tell you guys that we didn’t even want to bother her because she was giving us such a bad vibe. She honestly made me feel unsafe with my food if she was handling it I don’t know what her problem was possibly she missed a Bad Bunny concert or she caught her boyfriend or girlfriend liking some girls picture on Instagram or she’s just too good to be a waitress.( with that stank attitude she is not pretty) I was never rude to her as soon as we got there and sat down she made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome, it’s hard to believe that a restaurant would pay somebody to act this way for customer service !!... Other than that, the food was good and yes, I did tip them because the other waitresses were very nice like they always have. It’s just this new person that...

Usually I have a good experience eating there but this time there's a heavy set waitress that was very rude had bad attitude you can tell she had a problem from her demeanor and the way she was treating me I kept letting things go but when I went up to pay she went to the cash register I gave her a crisp 100$ and asked her if she had change she said yes she counted the change but hid a very bad completely ripped 10$ dollar bill Noone will take.... it was taped with tape and big part of the bill was missing I was going to go the next day and complain to the manager about her...... I went to the movies and a young man took the 10 dollar bill he kept looking at it without saying anything because I gave him two 10$ bills and finally he took it there was noway that anyone else would have so I hope they won't get in trouble.... that being said she was lucky I didn't go to the restaurant to complain I'm not going to stop going to the restaurant because of her.....but people come to Enjoy a meal they don't have to feel or deal with such rude disrespectful people she ruined my meal and the experience even.... after I left honestly people like that should not be working with people habds on or waitress specially a job like that she ruined my whole day I wish I got her name to add it here because I just hate for anyone to feel uncomfortable because of a rude mean...

Mexican restaurant in the South Bay area. They have a couple more locations, all in Torrance. This review is about the restaurant on Torrance Blvd., near the intersection with Crenshaw Blvd.

Years ago (pre-pandemic), this was one of my favorite places in Torrance. The food was great, and the portions were very generous. Sadly, things have changed, and unfortunately, it's happening to so many restaurants.

For start, the chips were cold. I remember how nice it was when they were warm. You get humongous-size circular chips with salsa. From what I remember, they were once freshly-made. I had a California burrito with Asada. Not bad, but not nearly as good as I remember it. Smaller size, higher price, and the meat isn't the same quality as it used to be.

My wife had the salmon plate. First of all, it didn't even look like salmon. She inquired with the waitress and was told it was indeed salmon. But it didn't look like salmon (look at the photo, you judge...) and, more importantly, it didn't taste like salmon.

So yeah, I'm definitely disappointed. Is it a bad restaurant? No, it's still decent, but -clearly- used to be way better. And the low prices made it a great value. Now they're in line with other restaurant...

I decided to try this place for the 1st time since I was hungry and Giuliano's was closed. This is the one in Torrance and never will I ever eat at this location again. The staff was incredibly nice and service was good but the food was not that great. Maybe they were having an off day but my roommate and I ordered two carne asada wet burritos and 4 tacos. The tacos were unbelievably expensive. $3.75 for one taco that was really bland and dry, even when I added salsa. The burrito was better but not by much. It was a total of $41.62 and it was not worth it to me. I don't mind spending that much if the food was good but when I eat something that should be bursting with flavor but taste like they didn't even seasoned the meat, I'm disappointed that I spent money on this. When I saw that it was $15 for 4 tacos I almost got my money back just for that reason but I decided to give it a chance and yet was still disappointed. I was better off going to King Taco and getting more food and better tasting food for half of what I spent here. Again, just my opinion and experience.

Great experience- the service was friendly and although we had to wait a little bit which was painful with kids with hanger issues, there was more than enough food in the kids meals to quiet them into submission once served. It was a very relaxed casual meal but that's the only reason I took off one star because we of the wait and while the servers were attentive, what we had hoped to be a quick lunch ended up taking 30 minutes more than we had hoped. The seafood tostada had a little too much jalapeno for my taste but I'm overly sensitive to spice. The fajita plate was so huge it lasted 3 rounds of leftovers. The kids gave thumbs up to their meals after their initial food tantrums. The ambience was fun: felt very much like the little places I've been to in Puerto Vallarta and Ensenada- with music in the background and lively colours everywhere.
