To start off - I LOVE my dress. Literally OBSESSED! It couldn’t be more perfect. But… the experience was honestly not so great. To start off, my mom booked a bridal and bridesmaid appointment weeks in advance. Days before the appointment, my mom called to cancel the bridesmaid appointment. She made it very clear and stated multiple times that we wanted to keep the bridal appointment. About a half hour before our appointment, my wedding party and I were ready and called in advance to see if it was alright if we came a few minutes early to the bridal appointment. We were questioned as to what appointment we were talking about as there was no appointment scheduled. The employee on the phone then said she could squeeze us in “but next time book your appointment.” I want to note that we did get an actual appointment slot, but it was about a hour later and sandwiched between two other appointments. The worker was very rude and continued to blame us as we “should have booked an appointment.” This was after my mother explained that our appointment was canceled in error by another employee. The employee then said it was best if we came early so that if someone was done earlier, then I would be able to start trying on dresses earlier. Well, we arrived & were told we needed to wait outside “because there’s no room for you.” We checked in every few minutes after the time our “squeezed in” appointment was supposed to start. The previous bride’s appointment ran 15 minutes later than it was scheduled so our appointment wasn’t able to get started. I want to add that our stylist through the appointment was fantastic! She was on top of everything! Amazing! Towards the end of the appointment, she did not allow the bride to try on another dress because the bride only had “15 minutes before the next appointment.” Note, I didn’t get started on time because the previous bride tried on several dresses after her appointment was scheduled to end. Once I had picked the dress that I had as a front runner, she passed me off to the front desk and said she had another appointment. While working with the employee at the front desk, she made several comments about “next time have an appointment.”

In short- I called to make sure my dress was coming on time since my wedding is 10/5 - it was to be delivered early August- when I called they said it was pushed to the end of August without any information why and was told to call customer support. Called customer support, was informed that it was always due to be delivered at the end of August. I asked if there was anything I could do - they said unfortunately no. They also stated they no longer ship to the store and it would be shipped to the address provided at the appointment- well the address provided was my parents (since they graciously offered to pay for it but are 1.5 hours away) we updated it to my address… well my dress was DELIVERED while I was out of town - box completely destroyed. I’m lucky noonetook it off my porch. I opened it up to check on the dress quickly as I havent had time to try it on- well, there’s no garment bag. So my $3000 dress is in a PLASTIC bag currently waiting for me to get one so I can safely transport it. I am anything but thrilled with VOWd and not sure I would recommend anymore.

Went in a couple times to look at dresses. I first worked with Ashley, she was great at helping pick out dresses I had in mind, very helpful for pointing out the pros and cons of each dress and helping me find THE DRESS. I didn’t purchase the first day since I wanted my mom to see it and have that mother-daughter moment.
We went back a week later and worked with Melissa who was just as great. She helped me pull dresses I had wanted to try on again, but saved the best for last. I cried and my mom LOVED the dress!
Ashley and Melissa made this is experience super easy and offered a few alteration specialists to reach out to.
I highly recommend...
Read moreWhy is Vow’d just the best?! This was my second bridal dress experience after another one at a different Milwaukee boutique. Immediately, I was excited by the diverse selection at Vow’d - you could just tell from the profiles of the dresses hung up on the outskirts of the space that there were tons of different kinds to choose from. Sam had texted me the day before to confirm and ask if I had any dresses in mind off the bat. I told her one I was thinking about and she also put aside the “sister” dress of the one I liked. I ended up liking the sister more than my original choice! I had trouble limiting myself to just a half a dozen dresses to try, but we did fill up the whole 1-1/2 hour appointment and even had time at the end to try on favorites a second time. Sam was so personable and intuitive. She was kind of playing a “game” with me trying to read where my heart was and choose what to try on next as a sort of build up/climactic experience. I was relieved to find that the costs and lead times for the dresses I liked were within my budget and would give me plenty of alteration time before my wedding. Best of all, really, though, was that my bestie and I had Sam to work with who made the experience fun and took away all the overwhelming emotions I was feeling leading up to this experience (due to my previous not-so-great experience). Will be recommending all my friends, after I go back today to make my final choice for my dress and after my bestie and I come back for her appointment next week to pick HER dress for her wedding!! Thanks Sam and Vow’d for an...
