   Read moreI have been an AT&T customer for 25+ years and my experience with Mary at the AT&T store in Patchogue was so odd that I am leaving this review. I ordered an item online, and the Patchogue store came up as a location near me that I could pick my purchase up from. So I place the order on Friday evening to pick up on Saturday. Saturday morning, I received a call from Mary from the AT&T store in Patchogue, and she states âthere is a problem processing your order because you placed the order after hours, so I canceled it, have no worries you can come into the store and purchase the itemâ. I proceed to hang up with her and place the order again and pay for it again to also be picked up at the same store. Ten minutes pass and I receive an email, that I have successfully cancelled my order, of which I did not. I call the store only to learn that there was never a problem processing the first order and the co-worker stated that she did not understand why Mary cancelled either of the orders. Needless to say, I feel like some sort of scam took place with Mary, and I am waiting to receive a refund from both of these...
   Read moreI've been to this store several time's now and I only go because it is on Main Street and close to my home. I've been an AT&T Customer for 6 years now and very seldom have to visit a store. I recently had an issue with my Samsung Note and after working with some very helpful tech support personal at AT&T by phone they advised I go to the store and pick up a new sim card to see if the issue could be resolved. They noted my account and said I would not be charged.
I headed to the AT&T on Main Street and the first thing the employee told me was that they were not "technically" an AT&T store but a re-seller (Which I get) and that they would have to charge me for my sim card. I understand that this is a 3rd party but if they would have simply helped me I would have made this my store and made my purchases through them - these are very low value items and even lower wholesale. It's just bad business relations.
While the employee was polite he suggested I drive 15 miles in a storm to another store - I just went down the street to another cell phone place and they gave me the card.
