So I was completely lied to when upgrading my phone. I was supposed to get XXX amount back for my iPhone X, which I was told would go towards my new phone over 24 months towards my new device payments to make those payments smaller.
The salesperson told me that the Samsung tablet (he was trying to sell me that I kept declining), which I don't even use, would only cost an extra $5 monthly, and offered 2 free screen protectors if I took it. I said okay, those screen protectors are $25 each, I figured it wasn't too bad of a deal. What I did not know was that I would need to pay a $40 activation fee for that tablet, its a 2 year contract so I'm locked in, and it isn't $5 a month, it is $10 extra a month!
Then he mentions that there is another unlimited plan that is better than mine but the same cost, and that mine is "Grandfathered". Another lie, my old Unlimited plan was $60, now this one is $80. I was there for over an hour going over everything. Overall, I would be saving an extra $20 a month on my plan.
Fast forward to a week later to pick up my new phone. The salesperson I was dealing with wasn't there, so the guy who rang me up said they were unable to give me the trade in value broken out over 24 months, they'd have to give it to me up front. Again, not what I was told when I was there.
So overall, my bill went up $40 a month, instead of down $20. My initial plan was to save a bit since I needed a new phone. I am not happy with this store, not happy with Verizon, and will be switching to another carrier once my 2 years is up.
Expensive, and they nickel and dime you with absolutely everything....
Read moreI recently visited the Verizon Wireless location in Patchogue, NY, and had one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. I walked in just looking to explore some options and walked out with three new phones and home services—all thanks to Robert, the amazing rep who helped me from start to finish.
Robert was incredibly professional, patient, and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all my questions, explain the different plans and features, and made sure I was comfortable with every decision. He didn’t rush me or try to upsell me—he genuinely listened to what I needed and tailored everything to fit my situation.
What really stood out was how smooth and efficient the whole process was. I never felt pressured, and Robert made what could’ve been a stressful visit feel easy and even enjoyable.
I saw some of the negative reviews before coming in, and I have to say—they do NOT reflect the experience I had. I encourage anyone reading this to come see for yourself before judging based on the 1-star reviews. Everyone’s experience is different, but mine was nothing short of excellent. Huge thanks to Robert and the team at...
Read moreSCAM/LIERS/THIEF I cant even describe the horrible experience we had here. Im just gonna advise ya’ll to avoid going here or just go to a real Verizon store.
We were attended by the store manager DANNY RODRIGUEZ who says he is a new manager to everyone. ( it’s probably bcz of the bad reviews the store has)
I think they have some kind of trick to SCAM people, because they talk about all this promotions that they have and when is time to pay they never approve “the promotions” so you end up paying HUNDREDS of dollars extra form what you where supposed to pay.
Me and my husband went to get a 3 line service and Danny was bringing up all this promotions and saying that we would only pay about $190 a month. Long story short… we been dealing with them for more than two months because we are getting bills of $500+… they say they will fix it, but they never do so the bills just kept increasing because it was overdue. At the end of the day we had to pay for almost all of it while they keep saying that...
