DISCRIMINATION AGAINST AFRICAN AMERICANS- a Very BAD customer experience, on Thursday Nov. 14th 2024 at approximately 17:20 hrs (5:20 pm) the cashier at first register seemed to be falling asleep at the register and my brother politely said “excuse me, excuse me, we would like to purchase these food items”. The cashier then snapped out of her slumber and began to scan our food items. The cashier forgot to scan 2 food items and complained to her boss, whose name was Elisha. The cashier claimed we STOLE some food items, mind you we purchased over $100 worth of food items. So, Elisha began to remove each and every item from our bag and compare it to our receipt listed items. After 20 minutes of this very embarrassing, belittling, demeaning experience it was discovered that only 2 items weren’t scanned by the sleepy cashier (the items being a bag of Utz cheddar chips, and a bag of frozen onion rings). She (cashier) was even smiling while Elisha was going through ALL our groceries as if we were Thieves. After all of this once leaving Elisha and running out store with items that he forgot to put back in our bag. Once we got home we noticed were a couple items missing also! I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE, and will bump this all the way up to corporate in addition to KRASDALE etc. I also found out that if you spend over $100 you also get complimentary soda, etc WHICH WAS NEVER...

Updated 1-11-2019 READ update from ONLY one year ago - Great convenient place to shop. Fresh produce at great prices.. I highly recommend and I'm a very picky person..

UPDATE- 1-11-2019 Be very careful when purchasing the meat from this store, particularly chicken. I purchased a pk of chk thighs one day and it was bad when I went to cook it the very next day. Not expecting for it to be spoiled, I trashed the receipt the same day I purchased it. When I went to return it the next day, the cashier was very hesitant in exchanging it for another without a receipt, even though it had the bravo label on the pkg. I refused to be treated that way and demanded that she exchanged it for another one. She finally did so and I suggested that SHE eat it or give it to her family to eat, because where I come from, we do not eat rotten...

Seems to have lots of grocery and produce items. Not nearly as big as ShopRite, but it is a market. There was a 15 wait in line at the register because someone asked for a specific medicinal item from behind the counter. Very tight inside but lots of Cheaper items. Just do not expect them to carry Everything, only common items and more specifically geared towards the...
