KATE & HALE — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

I hate to even say this but I'm very disappointed by this location. I went to buy a gift yesterday at 5:40pm and the store was already locked up even though they say they close at 6pm. An employee noticed me and opened the door just to tell me they are closed and gave me a huge attitude when I said that it was only 5:40. I then went in the store and said if it was a problem I could leave and she ignored me. So of course I left because I felt very unwelcome. I walked to the boutique across the street and bought my gift there instead. Unfortunately I won't be giving my business to this store any longer and neither will my friends or family!

No the doors were locked already they had the pad lock on. And the major issue was how rude your employee was to me...definitely not someone who knows about...

Nice Selection Very poor service July 6th shopping with friends. Good location, nice atmosphere and creative selection of clothes. The kids section was great with cute, comfy dressing room area. However, I was really disappointed during checkout. Two cashiers had their phone out with social media up and were engaged in social conversation. Neither acknowledged me and literally the only words they said were "$103.58" (for a tiny pair of shorts and a t-shirt by the way.) I tried to be friendly and smile but clearly my transaction was interrupting their social time. At these prices, I wouldn't shop there again because of the service....

I love Kate and Hale! I am thrilled to have one right in my hometown of port Jefferson now. They always have a fresh rotation of new pieces and the girls that work there are so helpful! Alexa and Alyssa helped me find all of my date night outfits and now I’m engaged! Lol while I can’t say that’s the reason why I’m engaged, I know that Alexa and Alyssa make coming to this beautiful store even better! Love the new...
