This place was decent. We ordered apps and entrees.
Risotto rice balls - good
Mozzarella en Carozza - was NOT mozzarella in carozza, but more like fried fresh mozzarella. Good for what it was.
Bruschetta - very good
Coal fired Supreme Pizza - we ordered it with no olives. First one came out with olives, they redid it and gave the error to the employees, which I thought was nice. Pepperoni was too spicy for me, but I ate it anyway, because the pizza was EXCELLENT. Makes me wish I ordered a different one to bring home.
Gnocchi with bolognese - was okay. Needed salt.
Chicken rollatini - pretty good. Needed salt (most things did all around), but the flavor was there. One piece of chicken slightly burnt, but the other looked good.
Lasagna - my sister said it tasted like there was something wrong with it. They took it off the bill and offered her something else. She opted for chicken francese.
Unfortunately, I can't tell you how the chicken francese was, because while we were waiting for it to come out, they started mopping the place with bleach. It's good to know that they're taking covid precautions with bleach, but establishments should wait for the customers to leave before they do that.
We asked the waiter to box up the francese because of the smell. If his own volition, he informed the manager what hearkened, and the manager was very nice and comped the francese, even though she didn't have to.
All in all, I would recommend this place if only for their pizza. Their food was decent, but the pizza...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOk, so hereās the deal. This place has excellent margarita pizza! However, we had 2 issues at our last dining experience.
The waiter- a younger waiter name Christopher picked up my wifeās dinner plate while she was still eating. The plate contained one slice on it with 2 bites into it. There should be some type of training where the wait staff ask before they remove someoneās plate. Minus 1 star
My wife and I having been to Italy, enjoy ordering Italian wine. We ordered one of their Chanti region wines. First of all, he brought the bottle to the table already opened which is no good, wine should be opened in front of the customer but second and more importantly the wine was obviously watered down. I canāt for the life of me imagine why this restaurant that seems to do good business, would dilute the wine.
Just to be sure- and make sure we werenāt crazy, when we got home we opened a bottle of one of our Chanti wines. The wine was rich and thick and there was a clear difference in taste between the restaurants diluted bottle of wine and what the real thing should taste like. - Minus a second star for the wine
In summary, the margarita pizza is great. Stop in for that and move along. Steer clear from the diluted wine or at least insist that the waiter open the wine bottle in your presence to ensure the wine isnāt tampered with. Lastly, guard your dinner plate in case a quick handed waiter decides to swipe your plate while youāre...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnforgettable! Itās been a few weeks since some friends and I had lunch here, and we are still talking about the amazingly authentic and delicious food (soups, salads, pizzas, entrees, all of it was perfect!), but most memorable is Kerri our server. With a smile that lights up the room, her world class intuition made us feel right at home.
My fiancĆ© is a type 1 diabetic and my buddy had a bad cold. She made a special tea just for him and got him feeling right again. So sweet and thoughtful! Sheās a great listener. We took all her recommendations. She knew just what we needed cause each one was spot on. Delicious!
