The short: this place is great and everyone should get their taco fix from here.
The long: Salsa salsa has been a part of many milestones of my own life (I.e. graduations, celebrations, etc) and the main character in some major events within my family.
My sister was asked out on her first real date here, got engaged here, AND went and got tacos here AFTER her wedding.
Fast forward 10 years, we had them cater a surprise anniversary party for my sister. They answered all of my questions, multiple phone calls, and even gave me suggestions on food choices/quantities/etc.
They went above and beyond with their services, communication, and overall service and the results couldn’t have been any better if we tried.
This place is worth driving an hour and back to. (We did. We drove an hour each way for their catering services)
Shout out to whomever spoke on the phone with me 1000x and still had a professional, cheery tone and whom listened to the family drama they didn’t ask for.
The end. This place is great and it should have a 5 star rating...
Read moreSo walking around town noticed a lot of people going to this place so I decided to give it a shot. Overall I was very dissatisfied with the taste and quality of the food. Taking my first bite of a plain beef burrito filled with cheese, black beans and rice and tomatoes and salsa. I was ultimately disappointed.
The flour tortilla tasted like what I imagine a wet unused diaper would taste like. The whole thing was dry. The rice was hard.the meat was dry and gross. Their was hardly any tomato’s or salsa in it. And the cheese Was very bland. How does cheese taste bad? Wouldn’t doubt all the ingredients were over cooked and old.
Overall the worst part of it was the their was no spice. This was the most bland burrito I ever ate in my life. How can you call yourself salsa salsa burrito bar and offer the most bland food.
The staff was very friendly but overall I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone right now hope they can get themselves together serve better food because their are plenty of small owned places that...
Read moreFood was very clean and authentic tasting. Ordered two burritos and one order of nachos. The burritos were very large portions which is great, the flavor was great. However it needed more salt, and they basically emptied a can of black beans on the burrito. The nachos on the other hand is why I took off a star. The cheese was not a nacho cheese sauce. It’s just a thick layer of shredded cheese melted over tortilla chips with scallions. Half the order was just dry chips. We ordered to go so it was kind of cold and the cheese started to harden. Would be better made fresh. In a separate container, they gave us the sour cream and salsa. Was really expecting more toppings and more of a cheese sauce rather than melted shredded cheese. Overall I would order the burritos from here again and maybe the nachos if I were to stay. The wait time for all of our food was 10 minutes so they are extremely fast at making orders. The food is inexpensive and worth the money, especially for the portions...
