Where do I begin. By looking at the reviews prior to mine , I can see why there are so many negative reviews. However, probably the most uncomfortable experience I’ve ever encountered. There needs to be an accountability held. Why is it that I have to except a package that’s literally been destroyed, And then to be told it’s unexpectedly to return the same package as is ? Someone please explain this to me. This store could not. They wanted to charge me a repackage fee. I refused to except that. I asked for the supervisor, and was told that the supervisor was not present. I demanded that we then call someone who can justify the fee. After a going round and round , finally the assistant manager called the supervisor. I asked how is the supervisor going to determine whether on not what we are arguing about is excessive or justified. I was then told they can look at the package from a security camera within the store. After the assistant manager called from the rear of the store , out of my site , I was then told , we’ll take your address and phone number , so if the driver refuses to take the package, they would call me. ( for what , to discuss the situation again). This has to be the most frustrating and ridiculous situation I’ve had to encounter on a situation that clearly is not the cause of the customer, but the cause of either the drivers or the supervisors that handled the drivers and dispatching. Now I don’t blame the workers them selves at the store , I point the fingers to policy...
Read moreBe very careful!!! Don’t ever have anything deliver from a store or a person because you can’t be available to receive the item. The Mount Sinai UPS are such scammers and non transparent business. They charge a fee to hold your items even if is an hour or a day. I ordered a box of wine which I paid $24 delivery fee, never were told there would be a hold/ storage charge. Apparently, the owner of this place sets the fee. Surprise!!!!! When you get there you are hit with another hidden fee of $10-$30 depends on the amount of items. Definitely nothing less than $10. Terrible, non transparent rules set by UPS store owner. When I argued the manager told me I should have called first. Is he kidding, why would I call them if the wine website didn’t even know there would be another fee once the box arrived here. I already had paid my delivery fee online with my order. WHAT A SCAM!! Get your stuff delivered to Walgreens which is free to hold or to home and just be available for the delivery. I will never go to them again. I have been doing my business with them for years even after the starting charging $1 for Amazon returns, but with this? Never again! Anything to make a buck. Such money hungry owner. I will also place this on Mount Sinai and miller place Facebook community so my town doesn’t get this nice slap in the...
Read moreToday for the last time i walked into this ups store to return my wife’s phone. Online i chose this ups because 1. it was close to me 2. it was advertised i can return my wife’s phone without printing out the barcode, that i could just have it on my phone and return it appropriately. When i told the young lady working today my plan she quickly dismissed me saying that i specifically needed too print it out myself. i tried explaining to her how it was advertised that i ddint need to print anything out but she quickly kept cutting me off making me unable to explain to her. i tried asking her to attempt to scan because ive gone to other ups’s (specifically selden and stony brook [which are 100x times better then this one i might add]) and they never had an issue scanning my phone. the issue here is how the employee handled the situation not even attempting to scan the barcode, being rude to me (while other stores are less hostile). the reason i’m writing this review is to warn other customers because truth be told the owner is just going to generate a response to review using AI giving me a corporate email as he’s done w the 1000 other negative...
