Village Grocery — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

THE OWNER WAS SO RUDE !! One day me and my friend was trying to figure out what alcohol beverage that we wanted to purchase and they didnt have the right selections that we wanted to buy. My friend picked out a drink that she might would like so she put it over to the side on another rack so we would come back for it. We put the drink down and said that we will be back but i think the owner was too busy looking at the cameras thinking we were going to steal something (RACIAL PROFILING). Me and my friend went to cvs and didnt find anything there aswell so we went back to this store. As we walked in THE OWNER was trying to KICK US OUT and CALL THE POLICE because of the beverage that we left out thay we SAID that we were going to come back for. And he stated that he was going to CALL THE COPS for us not putting the drink back . So i had to have a little conversation with him so he can understand why we left the drink out. And i should not to have that conversation with a grown man like that. Even if i did misplace the drink, he should be able to put it right back. THAT IS HIS JOB !!. I really didnt understand and i bet noone had an occurance that i had. I will never ever go back.. It just showed pure laziness and disrespect. I am dissapointed wholeheartedly....

I should bring a lawsuit. Today, I purchased a prepared chicken wrap from the purported "deli." After getting onto the ferry, I took one bite and immediately knew there was a problem. I unwrapped my wrap to find that the inside ingredients were completely covered in fungus and mold! I wish I was complaining about a suspicious spot on a single slice of cheese, but no. The inside of my wrap was legitimately covered with a blueish-white spiderweb-like mold! The health departments needs to shut...

I went there yesterday. Asked for a roast beef and pepper jack cheese sandwich on a hero, hot. My experience there was awesome. Had everything I needed, prices are fair (it’s a grocery shop....gonna be a lil more $ that a supermarket) customer service was awesome. So I get home and rip into the sandwich. Wow the guy made the sandwich with everything that I asked for, fresh tomatoes and onions, the exact amount of mayo I wanted (heavy) sandwich was hot, fresh, delicious. Just great...
