I do like this location as it's one of the bigger Ollie's & they have a lot to offer. Two things happened that day I went. I had asked an associate if I could get by him with my cart down in the area with the pictures & plastic bins. He looked at me rather annoyed that I had even asked as he was quite busy trying to put stock on the shelves. I was previously in the food isle & the man stocking shelves there was very pleasant. I had spoke up to the man again if I could please get by to see some items I wanted to purchase. Again he didn't say anything but looked annoyed. I can appreciate that he was determined to finish his work; but when you're the customer trying to buy items it was very annoying for me to half to experience that type of rudeness from an employee. Besides stocking the shelves I would have much rather him try to empty the isle as it was a tripping hazard for anyone shopping that day. On top of that experience I had a very annoying man who was also shopping kept making suggestive comments to me every time he ran into me. I actually felt stalked by him. I can see if by chance you run into someone in the next isle, but not every isle. It creeped me out. I decided okay time to check out & leave the store. No sooner as I'm in the checkout lane that same man is in the next lane over. I actually stepped out of line & acted as if I forgot something. I waited about 10 minutes then got back went in line to checkout. I made sure I existed with people around me. I'm not sure if I'll ever return to that...
Read moreStopped in with my wife. The first thing you notice is the plethora of signage that is curling and falling apart.
While we did find about $70 worth of stuff that we purchased, most items were presented in a poor manner. It reminded me of a bad garage sale. Actually I remember the last time we visited where I found boxes of comics that had notes on them indicating they were from eBay. What we did find we're the usual books for about $2 and $3 each, a special fire proof envelope for documents, and a few other small items. Prices for these items were pretty low for the most part.
There were boxes in the back of cat furniture, steamers, and unboxed washers and dryers. A good portion of the back of the store is full of small and room sized rugs. Many of these products looked like they were there for years. I guess the best way to sum things up is it looks like a salvation army that tried to offer new, damaged or mostly unwanted items for sale from 10 years ago, with a few signs and advertisements of a weird old man.
We generally only visit this store 2 or 3 times per year, as it takes a long time to notice enough turn over to warrant...
Read moreOllie’s used to be great until they remodeled the store. They basically flipped the store on its head with no rhyme or reason. The most congested area was moved to the front of the store making it difficult to get thru. No information of where to find anything so people are knocking into each other trying to figure out the store. On a Sunday, they had one register open the line was wrapped around the store. So instead of waiting in line to purchase one book I decided to leave. Couldn’t get out of the store because the enter door was a no exit and automatic. It wouldn’t open via my side. The only way out was cutting thru a massive line of customers and shopping carts to go thru the exit door. They made it so the only way you can get out of the store is to go thru the register line which only works if there are a couple customers in line. Not if you have a line of 40 people. It was beyond frustrating in there and I’m gonna use the phrase “don’t fix it if it’s not broken!” They had a great set up before and they just ruined it. I wouldn’t go in there again after that. If I could give zero stars I would. Super...
