I was very specific about what my problem was when calling to set up my appointment at the Driver's Village Burdick Mitsubishi service center--my 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse car alarm was going off sporadically which was causing problems. I was scheduled to come in at 1:30PM on Saturday but they called back to say that that wouldn't give them enough time to diagnose the problem so they rescheduled me for 8:00AM. I dropped off the vehicle, and let them know that I had taken out the fuse for the horn the day before as a temporary fix and handed him the fuse. The man helping me said that they would give me a call in "no more than a couple of hours" with the diagnosis.
Three and a half hours later I still had not received a call, so I called Burdick Mitsubishi, asking for the status of the diagnosis. The gentleman that I spoke with said that the person working on my car was "tied up" and that he would personally go and check on the status of my car diagnosis and "would give me a call back in five minutes."
30 minutes later after still receiving no phone call, I called Burdick Mitsubishi again, this time speaking to a woman. I explained my situation yet again and she said she would find out who was assigned to my car and would call me back regardless of what she found out. By that time I was walking back over to speak with someone in person.
When I got there, I was told that they had looked at my car and couldn't see anything wrong with it. They were then waiting around for the car alarm to go off while it was there, they said, because otherwise they just had no way of knowing why it was going off. They offered no explanation for why they failed to call me after they had found "nothing wrong." The report they wrote up said, "Vehicle was not duplicating said concern. Found IOD fuse popped up which could cause issue [although I had told them upon arrival that I had taken the horn fuse out--and physically handed the horn fuse to the man helping me], pushed down fuse." I asked why I had not been told when I called to make the appointment and had explained my issue that the car would have to be "duplicating said concern" while it was in the shop--I then never would have made the 1 hour 15 minute drive to come there. I was given a flimsy excuse of, "the call center people don't really know." I then asked why I was not called at, say 9:00AM and told that they hadn't found anything, or why I was not called at all, in fact.
Burdick Mitsubishi did nothing to try to figure out the problem, and offered no solution whatsoever. They took up 5 hours of my time and I drove away with absolutely nothing solved. I would give less than one star...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNow that Iāve took my time to sit and not be angry about the horrible service I received here with my car!!! First letās start with this place had my car for at least 3 weeks past my appointment. Then Philip who supposedly is a mechanic took my wheel bearing out mind you bought it a couple weeks before Philip said it was no good but really it just needed the sensor that went with it because the one in it didnāt come with the wheel bearing (which I figured out later ) they charged me $200 just to exchange my brand new wheel bearing I told them was brand new then I go back and there is two more lights are on outside of the lights I brought the car in to be looked at !!! Then they tell me I have to have a manufacturer part which I didnāt I needed the sensor. So then I ask to speak with the manager (Megan) who I thought was gonna solve the problem told me to my face she was cancelling the bill the whole thing $410 but I was fine paying with the diagnostic just not the $200 that their mechanic told me to exchange because it was no good when really all I needed was the sensor Megan spun the tales of all tales gave me her personal number then gives me a loaner when my car is supposedly done ? Says she just wants to drive it to make sure but really she did not want to be present when the vehicle is picked up ! Then Philip extra rude by the way says thatās not what she told us and what are you paying for then? I request they get her on the phone after she told my husband she was at a camp with no service another lie. She then says you still have to pay the $410 Iām just covering the wheel bearing she decided to put in mind you I didnāt need a wheel bearing just the sensor and charged me the 200 to exchange my new one when the mechanic should have knew the sensor didnāt go with it when he pulled it out which she agreed he should have also!!! By the way the wheel bearing on the other side is the same way so even tho itās not manufacturer wheel bearing itās fine ? I TRULY ADVISE YOU NOT TO GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE !!!!!! Warning warning warning ā¼ļø do not get your car serviced here !!!! I am also reporting to the better business bureau and I am debating a small claims against them for half of what I Paid !! PLEASE YOU CAN BE NEXT LOOK AT ALL THE SERVICE REVIEWS ALSO A SENSOR SHOULD NOT TAKE 3 weeks to fix the problem nothing and they donāt communicate we had to drive here multiple times with no...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI took car in for recall service and explained there was an issue with the front passenger bearing or hub that needed to be checked out. When I got the call he said the issue was the rear not the front, part was no longer under warranty and part was $693 to fix. I took it to my shop in town, they replace the part at $150.00 and said that was not the issue. He said the issue was the FRONT PASSENGER BEARING which i had initially said at the time of drop off. He is to fix it and the other side at an additional cost of $160.00 with a total of all three parts and labor at $310.00 and not just one part you were going to charge me at $693.00!! ontop of it you charge me a diagnosis fee that did not diagnose the problem and charged for inspection knowing it would fail due to the service needing to be done. Then I send an email and the sales man wanted to make everything right and get me into a vehicle with a warranty and I said not unless it was close or within $325.00 max. He called back and offered me a standard no frills car at $378.00 explaining it had an excellent warranty and I explained that I was screwed over also from my warranty because I initially went to purchase the car because of the warranty and the saleman said the warranty was not transferrable and sold me the exteneded warranty of $1300.00. When I called Mitsubishi about my extended warranty, they told me that my subsequental transfer warranty (that I was told was not available from the salesman) expired in April of 2020 and I said I purchased the extended warranty and they informed me that ran out in April also and that I had a double warranty on my vehicle that was not needed. I am so furious with the lack of respect and not looking out for me even after expressing what I seen on tv about the warranty and that was why i was interested in that vehicle and me knowing what was wrong with my car, service charging me for a diagnosis that was not even for what was wrong with it. Terrible, terrible service and to think that I have referred atleast two of my friends to your company is...
