This post is in response to the owners comments to Annie Knight my fiancé which are egregiously false and show the lack of professionalism we experienced while visiting this florist. As a successful CEO from Atlanta Georgia who specializes in business development I am totally disappointed in your business practices. The $4000 estimate for wedding that was given was only a rough estimate which I explained. I clearly stated that we could go higher on our budget numerous times because money is not an issue. The fact that you stated that our budget was only $4000 in your response shows you were not listening to the client. In your 40 years of experience I would hope you learned listening is fundamental. Secondly, the photos that we showed you were NOT outrageously expensive. We have gone to numerous florist and showed the same photos and none of them stated that the photo ideas were expensive. In fact, we have been quoted 4 different quotes from higher rated florist that were not even half the cost of what we were told by you. Furthermore, I had to ask for pricing because no cost were even given. We were only told it was expensive. After I ASKED for a pricing estimate we were finally given a rough estimate of $14000 which is actually quite affordable and easily within our actual budget capacity. Tiffany did great as a receptionist I believe or designer. Was able to help me out easily and found exactly what I wanted. Did it all with a smile, especially during the busy holidays. I did have to come back at a later time to pick up. About 3 hours later I did return and what a switch. After waiting about a minute I saw a lady walk through the back door I to the flower shop. I was greeted by that lady called Brittany as the store manager, within seconds I noticed a huge smell of marijuana flow into the room. Not like a small punch but it smacked me right in the face since I’m allergic to the smell. It makes me gag!!! I know it’s legal now and this is a flower shop but I don’t believe it’s appropriate to have staff on clock smoke, ESPECIALLY when I’ve been standing there waiting. That is ridiculous. If I could give this place -10 stars I would. I had a consultation for my wedding florals. The woman who spoke to me was nice at first until i gave a rough estimate of my wedding budget. We had no problem going up on our budget if the service was professional. I showed pictures of the style of what I was looking for and everything I asked could not be done or she stated it was too expensive but did not give any actual cost. Then I asked for silk flowers for my cake table and she stated that they did not do silk flowers but the entire shop is decorated in silk flowers! She then referred us to find someone from a bridal show that could do it but gave no name, no number or any details of how to locate the person she was referring to. We also have friends who are getting married and would have referred them but we won’t be doing that. I feel like we were stereotyped and discriminated against by the consultant.
