T.J. Maxx — Local services in Town of Clay

I shop at this tj maxx all of the time and my experience checking out today was horrible. The cashier who goes by the name of Shreyeus checked out a customer prior to me and when it was my turn, I was waiting for 10 minutes while he was “fixing things up” in the back of the register. His light was still on and there was one other cashier doing a return that was taking some time. I then, asked “are you open?” And he replied, “Yes, one minute mam.” With a snarky attitude and was very short. I would have respected if he greeted me with, “One moment, I will be right with you.” My FIVE YEAR OLD even noticed the attitude in his voice. As I finished checking out, the next customer was out by time I was to my car. Provide better customer service or get a job you actually like that doesn’t require contact...

This used to be my favorite store. Unfortunately not any longer. The store has way too many clearance racks and very little new and fresh fashions, I believe it has become one of the stores where they sell mainly returned items . The quality of clothing has descended. The store is also not as clean and is unorganized. There is a very limited amount of size 6 shoes. Unfortunately there is an even bigger problem at Marshalls in Fairmount which was also one of my favorites that will be removed from my favorites list. I found so many things I love during this most recent shopping expedition. I got a beautiful light aqua quilt to use as a sofa cover. Three button down blouses for work or casual made of great soft materials. A light beige sneaker that are just right for using as casual dressy to work. I almost always find Philosophy products on the skin care section. Everything I got was between 10 and 20 per item except the quilt. Fantastic prices.
