Been going to this one one on and off since they opened as I live in the area. They’re a steak house that can rarely cook a steak to the desired temp, the sides of butter often have other bits of food in it (anywhere from vegetables to meat), buns often undercooked. The salads are a sad state of affairs. If you get any to go with chicken, your chicken is going to be either boxed inside on top of your lettuce and the juice will make your salad soggy, or they’ll place it outside the salad box in foil and the juice leaks all over the rest of your food and containers. You ask them to put the chicken separate, then you get an attitude and get lied to that they always put it separate. Oh, same thing with the dressing. They’ve mixed the salad dressing into the salad and it’s soggy by time we get home to eat it. We asked them to not put the dressing on the lettuce, then we get told they don’t do that. Guess what happened AGAIB tonight? I’m sure some of the staff does things properly, but plenty are not and then the customers are being gaslit. Top tier treatment right there.
Don’t wait for a text notification letting you know curbside is ready. Have waited dozens of times past the time the food was supposed to be done because it was not brought out, we received no notification the food was done until AFTER we went to the window and asked for our order, seeing it sitting on a shelf. More than half of the time our food is cold when we pick it up ourselves. Now we’re being told to wait in the car until it’s done.
And no, you don’t get better service even when you tip really well, that doesn’t work either. We’ve tried. We order little food for two people, so they’re not big orders. We go back every few weeks to see if things have gotten better and while the staff changes, the service does not and...
Read moreHello, so I want to leave a review here to speak on my experience here at Texas Roadhouse just two nights ago. Me and my family were celebrating our nephews 15 birthday and it was a total of 8 adults and 7 kids. (we are a black family) anyways we arrive there mind you we let them know that we were planning on coming hours prior. We Enter the restaurant and instantly all am seeing is the servers rolling their eyes and catching attitudes. So I give it right tf back. We all have good jobs. Nursing Jobs and not to mention Police officials aswell. But no they only see a big black family. We didn’t stay long we were there for a hour in a half. My server Nick was great he stepped in and offer to help the female server and he said we can split the tables which worked out great. The female server had an attitude like no tomorrow so if my in laws didn’t tip her I don’t blame them for not doing so. I get that the pandemic has a lot of business working understaffed. I work in a hospital and I work understaff everyday I walk in there and I show everyone the upmost respect and treat them all equally. No attitudes given whatsoever. So to these young ladies I say please try and keep your composure and be a little bit more welcoming and remember you work for a business who’s main goal is to feed people great food and keep their establishment open to ALL people of all COLORS. To all Families big or small. I love enjoyed the food and the service Nick provided and how he was so understanding and it did not bother him whatsoever that we were a big family. I want to apologize to him for only tipping him $10 being that I forgot my wallet at home and we had to do with what we had at hand. Am praying that God will bless you 10x more than what I gave you! Thank...
Read moreTo start, I had never been to a Texas Road House and was excited as my husband had told me about the peanuts and the rolls which he was the most excited for and it was his birthday dinner. When we were seated we weren’t offered rolls or peanuts. Our drinks were given to us overflowing spilling. My husband ended up asking for rolls and for peanuts. I have a dietary restriction due to a health condition and I was told by our waitress Abby that she would be checking from the kitchen if the bacon bits and uncooked onions were safe for me to eat. She never came back with that information and when we did receive our food there were no onions on the side and my mashed potato’s did have bacon. Still no clarification if it was safe for me to eat. My husband asked for a second basket of rolls, we never got them. The steak I got was very dry and crumbly and my husbands macaroni and cheese was legit plain noodles with cheese on the top layer. Underneath was just plain boiled noodles. Everyone hyped this restaurant up to me and I was excited to try it but honestly would have preferred to have gone to Five Guys next door or Chipotle. I want to stress that the waiting staff was just very unattentive to us. Everyone around us had been given rolls and peanuts when they were seated, their waitresses were checking in on them, our waitress Abby did not check with us at all. As someone that has worked in customer service for many years I know that if they see this review they will say “good don’t come back then.” And that this review doesn’t really matter, I just want other customers to beware, it’s not...
