I had the worst experience at Target today. So I used self checkout. The manager and another employee stood and watched everything that was rung up. After I left and stood in between the doors where he couldn’t see me. He hope right in before another customer can use it and reprints the receipt from the self checkout that I used. Clearly in the picture you can see where I returned everything that I purchased. I brought the Tabbitha Brown items and The BHM brand clothing to support my culture. I spent over $260 dollars. Now I cashed out at 11:20 on my receipt and I made the return at 11:37. So in the meantime I asked for a manager and they said the guy Ray who discriminated against me was. I said there’s someone over him, Everyone (Cheryl, Barb, and Lisa) act as if they didn’t know what was going on. Especially when Barb was the employee on the other side watching as we were checking out and seen that we scanned everything. I said everyone has a boss unless you own the place. They said they’re not in. Ray stands up front off in another part talking to a guy and laughing about what happened and saying o well return it then. I’m appalled by this behavior. I’m praying no one else has to go through this and you’re treated with respect regardless of color, creed, or race. So as I’m returning it I tell the other employees like you guys think it’s ok to treat people this way. You all seen that everything was scanned and y’all know he’s wrong. In those 17 minutes I didn’t see him pull anyone else’s receipt. So you make it make sense. The one who did my return I believe Cheryl said o sometimes we pull randomly. I’m like I haven’t seen him standing and watching nor pull a receipt print out since I’ve been in here. Target has definitely lost my business and I’m reaching out to the brands that I was purchasing and let them know the discrimination you have to endure to purchase their products. I have a mas in my abdomen and walked all around the store for my items and I’m doing Chemotherapy. That was such a waste of my time and energy. That’s never something I want to deal with ever again. Read moreBefore Christmas I had purchased 2 Nintendo Switch Lites online from this store. I had gotten the email that they were ready to be picked up. Within the next hour I received another email that my items were picked up. When I called the store I found out that the associate had GIVEN THEM TO THE WRONG PERSON. Then, to save herself she lied about. I caught her in multiple lies on the phone and then spoke with her manager about it. These were the last 2 they had in store (or anywhere for that matter) so getting different ones was not an option.
I reported this to the corporate office, who didn't seem too concerned about it. They promised me they would investigate the situation and I would likely receive an email within 5 business days to progress the issue further. I never received the email even though I called dozens of times over a 2 month period. Then I finally found out from one agent that they closed my complaint without even speaking with me. They are refusing to give me my refund. Do not buy anything online through this store. I wouldn't buy anything from any Target without physically having it my hand again. Read moreChristmas season is a nightmare for any retail workers. My husband and I went to the electronics department to purchase a new Xbox for our son. It was insanely busy, of course. I had a few questions and waited patiently for their attention. Not only was I greeted (and extremely cheerfully!) by one, but two workers! Both the young gentleman and young lady were so helpful and kind! They took the time to answer my questions - very thoroughly- even though there was a line of people either waiting to be checked out or had questions as well. They gave me 100% of their attention. As my husband and I were deciding on which one to buy, I gave room so they could help other customers and can I just tell you? Hearing their interactions with everyone else was nothing but stellar! Seriously. Top notch. I wish I had gotten their names after we made our purchase because those two definitely are a fantastic team and made the stressful time of year much less stressful.
