Plank Road Ice Cream — Restaurant in Town of Clay

I've had it with this place raising their prices every year. Find another place. Went last week for 1st time this season and yep everything went up again. $4.85 for a medium ice cream w peanut butter dip! I said, you guys raised your prices AGAIN?! They said yes. Stop going here, call ownership and tell them why. They'll say but "we have large portions", well so do other ice cream shops for lower prices, and people don't need to be over-served anyways, which is one reason why America is the fattest country in the world. And the cash only thing, in 2023??? ... we know what ownership is thinking come tax time!

That price for one ice cream is unacceptable. $10 should be able to buy 4 medium ice creams for your family, not $20. The profit margins on ice cream is massive and this place is massively greedy. I'm no longer going there. Look at the photo of their menu from not too long ago in the customer photos and compare it to the current prices and you'll see what I'm talking about its crazy! Not sure if i should blame plank road ice cream,but to the macho guys from the bar claiming to own the property using the F word in front of children eating ice cream...thanks for ruining my night out for ice cream. I arrived at plank road ice cream friday night around 9:30 and as i got in line a guy was reving his engine right there by the stand...i could feel the moisture from the exhaust on the back of my legs as i stood in line. A family enjoying their ice cream was picking on the car and the driver after it had stalled. Apparently the driver couldnt handle the comments and got out of his car and arguing started. The friend of the driver went to get the Macho guys from the bar, who kicked the family off his property, when in fact the driver of the loud car and his friend should have been kicked off too.
