Bass Pro Shops — Local services in Town of Clifton Park

I always thought Bass pro / Cabela's was top of the line quality merchandise I was quite surprised when I recently bought a tree stand from Bass pro in Clifton Park even though it's rated for 350 lb I don't believe that is is that strong very thin wall tubing definitely the stand was not designed by hunters or anyone that knows about hunting My biggest complaint is the steps are so far apart I can barely get my leg from one step to the other step and I am 6 ft tall I'm not quite sure what they were thinking when they put the steps so far apart once it gets a little cooler out and I need to wear additional clothing and have your boots there is no way I will be able to climb up into the stand not to mention the stand was in so many parts it took quite a while just to assemble the stand from the foot rest to the spacing on the steps to the quality of the material very disappointed I would have second thoughts about continuing to...

Came Into today 10/2/25 to purchase a couple hundred dollars worth of Ammo, first sales guy was good got my background check through and had me on my way within 30 minutes. As i was walking out looking at my receipt i saw i was charged for an extra box of .28g shells. No problem; went to customer service to get a refund all was fine until the refund had to get approved. I sat there waiting for another 50 minutes on top of the 30 i was already there for, for this sales guy who was not the same one who checked me out to approve this refund because he had already started helping someone else who did not even know what they were looking for. Instead of taking the 2 minutes to approve the refund(i didn’t even get my money back they gave me a gift card) the sales guys made me stand there for 50 minutes(Because of THEIR mistake). complete bs i do not recommend shopping in there guns and ammo...

I recently purchased a bow at Bass Pro and had the pleasure of being assisted by Tod. He is an absolute expert in archery — with a lifetime of experience and participation in both national and international competitions, his knowledge is second to none.
