This hotel is out dated the room gives red roof vibes, pay by the hour. I arrived as a diamond member and wasn’t offered a Hilton honor bag I had to ask on return while going to the car to grab my bags. Upon arriving at my room oh wait let me back up I checked in online and picked the room I wanted when I was given my room keys they changed my room to a room at the end of the hall behind a door I never have stayed at hotel with door in the hall it was just two rooms behind the door in my mind I thought what if someone locks me behind the door the lady at front desk said the room I picked was a pet room so they switched me and I’ll be at the end of the hall by myself. Ok so I get to room it’s like a motel inside this thing had stains on the bed, rust in bathroom, dust on top of furniture; I knew I couldn’t stay here for long behind a trap door and beside dried s ex stains do not stay here if your clean and have decent standards if you need a place to smash then by all means leave your stains, dust and rust. Pics included even got the random hall way trap door!

Great location - rooms are okay. I book employees here regularly due to the convenience of location. It's unfortunate Hilton & management don't appreciate loyal customers. Lately, my employees travel plans to Albany have been changed due to storms and things out of their control (flights cancelled due to Hurricane Helene this weekend). This has happened a few times before too. The hotel gives me a the run around and I have to go through the booking site to ask for a refund or to change the check-in date (I was still keeping the remainder of the reservation). After being on with the booking site support team for 30-45 mins, they tell me the hotel gets the final say and they denied the request for refund. Even though the booking site also plead with them. I even had trip protection and I'm being told the Hotel won't refund. Shame on you, do the right thing. You just lost a customer. There are plenty of hotels in the area to choose from.

During a renovation to our home, my mother and I stayed for ten days. Our experience was wonderful. The staff were just great, the rooms and other areas were extremely clean, and the furnishings were just beautiful. It made it a pleasure to stay. My elderly mom and I had connecting rooms, with my mom's being a handicap accessible room. Both were furnished beautifully with 2 queen beds, a desk, and a reading area. My bathroom was a great size and the handicap bathroom was huge for wheelchair accessibility and a walk/roll in shower. There is a bar and restaurant right in the hotel. The bar has a happy hour at 4 pm. You can eat either in the bar or the restaurant. The food is very good and the waitstaff were marvelous. The hotel also offers a buffet breakfast that is phenomenal with a chef making made to order omelets, French toast and waffles. We couldn't ask for more from our temporary home!

Whenever we visit our son and his family in Burnt Hills, NY, we stay here at the Hilton Garden Inn in Clifton Park. We normally use Hilton points to stay here as it's the most reasonably priced points hotel in the area and with Hilton Honors, if you pay for four nights with points, the fifth night is free which is a great benefit. Staff are super nice, rooms are clean and decent, lobby is very inviting and breakfast is good. The only issue with the breakfast I have is that if you don't want the buffet, (carbs, more carbs, yogurt, fruit) but want just eggs and sausage, you still have to pay for the buffet, even if you are not using any of it! Breakfast staff are very nice, but for sure there is one chef that is better than the other as we had five breakfasts here, and when the good chef was there, the eggs and potatoes were perfectly cooked, but when the "other" chef is cooking, the eggs and potatoes come out burnt. I did mention this to the breakfast manager and on our last morning she very kindly comped our breakfast. |On the plus side, they have a nice indoor heated pool and spa, again something the other hotels in the Clifton Park area do not have, some have pools but having a jacuzzi here is a very nice bonus. The management also allow me to bring my grandkids over to use the pool which I really appreciate. We will continue to come here 1-2 times a year as they take good care of us and the hotel is well positioned, with the mall and many restaurants and the movie...

We attended a holiday party at the Clifton Park Hilton Garden Inn in December with a professional group. I DO NOT recommend this Hilton Garden Inn for any event. There was an issue with the food that was promised and paid for.

This venue ran out of food at the buffet before all the attendees were able to obtain their first serving. There were quite a few people waiting in lines for over 20 minutes waiting to receive the food they paid for and which was promised.

Some food was eventually brought out, but not all. My partner wanted the beef that was supposed to be included, but it was never received. I did not get dessert as most of the choices were gone. Several other attendees experienced a similar situation.

Staff could not give any reason why the food was not being made available.

The hotel contact person was not communicating with the group organizer and no point person was available to speak with.

If you order and pay for food for an event, you, of course, want to know what happened and expect it to be made right with good customer service and professionalism.

However, as I understand it, the hotel management instead criticized the group and attempted to displace their own short-comings. It did not seem they wanted to take responsibility for their mis-handling of the event. I would think the hotel management would, in the very least, offer a $10 dollar credit to each of the attendees.

NO, I DO NOT RECOMMEND HAVING...

This place is a disgrace. I checked in today with my 12 and 16 year old kids. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant now called the “Diamond Club” and spent plenty of money.

After getting my kids back to the room, I went back down to the bar to call my 75 year old mother, who I look after. I had a glass of wine and all was fine. Then the waitress quit and told me I had to order from the bar, which I did. Then I was told by the barman that he won’t serve me, and I asked why, no reason... he was aggressive and nasty all night which I had observed earlier. He was constantly arguing with other staff etc. I was surprised as I didn’t understand why he was behaving this way to me, as I had only been sitting there quietly talking on the phone to my mother.

Then I go to the reception to complain, as I just see him coming back from there. As soon as i complain, I’m threatened with getting kicked out of the hotel, including my children!!!

I tried to reason with this you 20 something woman at reception, but it was impossible. She told me to go to my room now or I will be arrested!

For the sake of my kids’s safety I went to my room and didn’t ask for the police to come. I therefore ask the 2 ladies who were sitting opposite me and witnessed everything to please come forward and help me, as I’m reporting this hotel and management to the police in...
